Crafters all over are so excited to get their hands on the latest Cricut Joy bundle. Joy is a must-have that you need to get your hands on. This compact maker makes it easy to craft with cards, vinyl, and iron-on.

One of the Savvy Ladies is turning 14 in Quarantine. Here are three great crafting ideas that are perfect for anyone celebrating a birthday.
So Many Options with Cricut Joy
The Cricut Joy is the newest addition to the Cricut line. It is compatible with IOS and Android phones. Users can design directly from their phone or they may download Design Space from Cricut.com and use their laptops or desktops as well. Once you have unboxed your bundle of Joy, downloaded Design Space, and have logged into your account you are ready to get your crafty groove going. There is a test design to help you get started.
There are so many designs available to use. You will be amazed at what you can make. For more Cricut inspiration, follow Cricut The Official Page on Facebook and/or use cricut.com as a resource. You can also follow some Facebook pages of other crafters for inspiration. The crafting community is here to help.
Turning 14 in Quarantine makes her a “Quaranteen” so social distancing and not seeing school friends are making this birthday very different from other birthdays. Hoping that these special gifts will bring a smile to her face.
Easy to Use
The Cricut Joy takes your card crafting to a whole new level. A Birthday card is always needed to show someone you care. I chose the cupcake from the design space. The card template is super easy to use with so many options. Choose your design, get your card prepped, click Make It, insert the card into the card mat, and follow the prompts on the screen to insert into the machine. Click Continue, pair the machine and Connect (if it is your first time, don’t forget to remove the clear film) Load the card and you are ready to begin.
Once the card is complete, you can unload the card, remove from the mat, and weed out the pieces you will not be using. Then place the backer into the cut out corners. Your card is ready to go.
My niece has been hooked on making the latest trend of Dalgona coffee. A birthday mug would be a great idea for her to enjoy. I thought this vinyl image would be perfect for her. The crown on top is so cute. This coloring ties in with her gifts.
This vinyl allowed me to test out transfer tape. This means printing out the vinyl, then weeding off the excess, placing the transfer tape on top, and rubbing it so it adheres.
At this point, you may now take transfer tape and place it on top of the material you are using. Use the burnisher tool to rub-down the image and remove the tape. Your image has now been transferred to the surface.
I had purchased this vibrant makeup bag before the quarantine and then I had this great idea to add a little glitter and design on the bag for my niece. At 14 makeup is trending and experimenting with lots of fun eyeshadows and lipstick is tons of fun.
DIY TIP TO REMEMBER!
Iron-on materials should be cut out using the mirror image, I forgot this step once and you will soon realize how important it is to double-check everything before hitting Make IT. I used the Easy Press to iron on the phrase and image. In no time my gift was complete.
I hope you enjoyed checking out my 3 easy Birthday ideas to make with the Cricut Joy.

I would all those gifts! Great ideas!
I love that card.
I’ve always wanted a Circut for things like these for Birthday cards and other scrapbook idea stuff. This seems really nice and don’t have to spend that much on everything else.
Neat, heard all about cricut… seems like a lot of possibilities with this cool machine.
Great gift ideas will definitely check them out.
I have been interested in getting one of these. It looks like there is so much you can do with one.
One of the best birthday ideas is to have a good pamper session for your little one, to make him/her feel special. I did a similar session for my little one using the moms co natural baby products and they are so good!
