Are You Ready for Back to School?

Ready for back to school? I hope so! Getting ready for school can sometimes be extremely overwhelming and you might not have everything ready as you had planned.  Some years I have had the bag labeled ready at the door for weeks and some years I had absolutely nothing ready.  It wasn’t even because we were away!

Products to Help You Get Ready for Back to School

If you feel like this is where you are right now, know that you are not alone! You can still get organized.  There are lots of things to label in addition to school supplies. I have some solutions and ideas to help you get ready for back to school and will also make excellent gift ideas too!

Stuck On You Book Bag

Girl wearing monogrammed backpack.

My daughter loves this book bag.  I like the dark navy color to keep it looking its best throughout the year. Take a look at what book bags are available here. Girl wearing monogrammed backpack.

Stuck On You Bento Box

Another great product that Stuck on You offers is the bento box lunchbox and cooler bags. We thought this watermelon was too cute and decided to make a theme with it! The cooler bag has a place for an ice pack to keep lunch as fresh as can be!

Fun Labels

Stuck on You also has a great range of labels for kids of all ages. I like the Mixed Label packs because of the great price and the variety of labels that come with the pack. You will also have plenty for labeling outerwear, “just in case” outfits or emergency clothes and will have throughout the year.  The price also makes it a great gift too! Take a look at the variety of Stuck on You labels online and check out our favorites listed below.

Aren’t these emojis cute for your tween?

Why not get labels with your favorite emojis?

How about Tie-dye for your older child?

Or you can keep it simple with super cute polka dots that work for any age.

We all want to be more organized and it is never too late to do that.  Believe me, you will be happy that you did.

Ready for Back to School with Stuck On You

We absolutely love the Monogrammed Towel and it definitely makes a great gift!

Stuck on You has a broad offering of labels and the Stuck On You collection includes activity and personalized books, durable and stylish bags, lunchboxes and drink bottles, stationery, bag tags and gorgeous gifts for all ages.

There is so much to choose from.

Are you ready to get organized? Are you ready for back to school? Remember it is never too late.  Your child will come home with a note to label all clothing – think gloves, sweatshirts, scarves, hats, coats.

What are you waiting for? It’s time to go order!

I am far from a trendy mom but I like to know what’s the coolest so that when my daughter asks about something I know if it’s an ‘in’ thing. Without a doubt personalized and monogramed bags and towels are a no brainer. Thanks for the ideas.

I like that you can coordinate all the items. No one’s going to mistake a lunch box/bag as theirs when it’s labeled and matching your child’s.

It is incredible at how much kids need for school. It does cost a good deal too. You should buy quality so you are not buying more later.

So happy to kick off the holiday season with @macy So happy to kick off the holiday season with @macys and Santa! Last night, we took the train into the city to preview #Macys #Santaland I have to say it was quite magical. Although my youngest was 12, Santa was able to connect to her and put us all in the holiday spirit.

I believe. I believe….

My mom also came with us. We started talking and I think it was almost 40 years ago that she took us to visit Santa at Macys. I was so happy to visit Santa with her and my youngest for a three generation experience.

Don’t forget to check out the beautiful window displays as you enjoy all of #NYC during the holidays!

#ad Mental health isn’t talked about enough, but #ad Mental health isn’t talked about enough, but 1 in 5 adults suffer from mental illness and disorders today.

Let’s reduce the stigma by opening up the conversation in the classroom and at home.
As a teacher and a mom of 3, I know how important it is to be there and be a good listener.

Conversations are super important. It’s never too early (or too late) to have these conversations with your students or your own children.

Operation Conversation is a check-in on kids’ mental health. When we start simple habits of conversations, we can learn about concerns or problems our students are dealing with, help them problem solve, and build their confidence for life’s difficult moments.

Teachers can help to destigmatize mental health starting in their own classrooms by talking to their students about mental health using a free deck of conversation starter cards. Parents can also use these cards to support good conversations while at home. I know as a mom, I can use all the help I can get.

#Giveaway Alert!
I have 5 decks of Conversation Starter Decks of cards to give away to 5 lucky winners to help you get the conversation flowing!

To enter:
1. Comment on this post as to why you would love the conversation starter deck of cards.

New York state has so many wonderful places to be New York state has so many wonderful places to be a part of . From the bright lights of NYC, to quiet places of respite in its parks and wooded areas. Time to walk, hike and reflect. Being active and busy is something that I hope my teens learn from and something we can do together to enjoy all the beauty and nature it has to offer while keeping NY tobacco free. Did you know that our oldest generation of smokers are now dying? After them, you have me and a very large group of people who do not smoke at all. So, who’s next? Instead of taking cigarettes off the shelves, the tobacco industry views today’s teens as tomorrow’s customers, using menthol-flavored products to attract and addict kids – and it’s working. More than half (54%) of youth who smoke (ages 12-17 years) use menthol cigarettes. making it easier for kids to start and harder for them to quit. Menthol is not JUST a flavor, it attracts and addicts kids As a teen mom, I am sharing this so we can all take action! Learn more about the impact of Big Tobacco’s manipulative tactics on our communities and how you can take action to help end this injustice. Let’s keep our kids enjoying the wonderful things our state has to offer. Link in bio #NotJustMenthol #TobaccoFreeNYS #ad @tobaccofreenys
