Klutz Maker Lab: Circuit Games Build & Play 5 Games! is perfect for kids who want to build create and discover.
This year, my third grader will study electricity at school. As an educator, I think that Klutz did an awesome job with Circuit Games Book & Maker Kit. They have step-by step instruction and 5 games to spark your child’s interest. There are five circuit games that you can build from scratch.
Use actual electronic components to construct a DIY operation game, compete with friends in a Space Loop race, assemble a quiz show board, and more. A step-by-step book of instructions teaches you how to be a maker by adding wires, LEDs, and buzzers for super-charged fun.
The Quiz Show Board piqued her interest right away. To create this game, you need the LED light, a battery pack, copper tape, the quiz show board, 10 question/answer cards, 10 brads, coated wires(5 short 1 long), and a pencil.
As a teacher, I often remind my students and my daughters to read first. Read through all the directions first before starting. This way, you will know what you need and get the chance to reread for clarification.
To get started, she needed to put the brads into the game board and getting ready to connect the legs of the brads (on the back of the game board) with the coated wires and copper tape. When this is completed, she will then power the lighting with the battery pack.
Hands-on science fun is happening in my house! Woohoo! We were laughing and having lots of fun with this kit!
The KLUTZ Maker Lab series is perfect for third graders and up. It features premium components, detailed step-by-step instructions, and a sense of humor to introduce varying topics like circuitry, building and engineering, kinetic machines, and more, in a fun, informal way with hands-on projects that encourage exploration and experimentation.
If you are looking for a gift for a girl or boy, the Klutz Maker Lab Circuit Games would bring the ultimate in excitement. For more information, please visit the website.
