Calling all cheese fans! Do you have plans this Saturday? Well, I have the perfect idea for you, grab your friends and head into NYC on Saturday, September 29th to partake in the cheesiest pop-up event ever.
You will have the opportunity to meet Marissa Mullen of “That Cheese Plate”.
She will be on site from 4-6 pm at Sockerbit, located at 89 Christopher St., West Village, NYC 10014
Marissa will be creating festive, modern and fun cheese plates plus an art project for all at the Jarlsberg® Pop Up Store at the wildly popular Swedish candy store, Sockerbit, located in the West Village.
I was introduced to Jarlsberg earlier this year while attending a Momtrends event for back to school. Cheese is always a favorite for my girl’s school lunch. Either it is a cheese snack or the perfect grilled cheese sandwich.
I was also lucky enough to Meet Celeb Chef George Duran while at the Momtrends event and he made the tastiest grilled cheese ever spicy and savory. He will also be at the pop-up to share cheese pairings and be available to discuss the flavor, provide recipes and insight into the rich Norwegian History of Jarlsberg® Cheese
Guests can experience how The Sockerbit NYC “Sweet & Swedish” candy store is getting a “Nutty & Norwegian” makeover. They can enjoy a Nordic and Swedish experience in NYC at Sockerbit, where fans can enjoy cheese as if in an old-fashioned Norway Cheese store along with craft beers from ABC Beer Company in Soho.https://www.abcbeer.co/
While attending the pop-up enjoy and savor cheese plus candy pairings with beer courtesy of ABC Beer Co, the craft beer store and bar in the East Village that provides New Yorkers with a place to expand their experiences with brews, broaden their palates, and deepen their social circles.
Though Marissa Mullen will be there on Saturday to offer seasonal holiday cheese platters from a new perspective as well as an interactive “Cheese by Numbers” activity for fans to enjoy. Visitors to Sockerbit can still enjoy all the other fun that will be taking place through the October 7th.

About Jarlsberg® Cheese
In 1956, we created Jarlsberg® Cheese, using an original Norwegian recipe. Why does Jarlsberg® cheese taste so mild, nutty and delicious? It’s all part of the legend…and Norway’s most guarded recipe! Www.jarlsberg.com.
This is a sponsored post. All opinions are my own.
