Christopher Robin starts out our journey in storybook style. As the movie began, we were brought into this book that told the new stories of what happens to Christopher Robin as he visits the Hundred Acre Wood for the last time. I immediately was taken back to my childhood. Watching Winnie the Pooh movies and reading the classic stories by A. A. Milne was a staple of my younger years that I have shared with my three daughters so that they too would fall in love with the 100 Acre Wood.
While at the Red Carpet Premiere with the cast of Christopher Robin, I fell in love with Pooh’s new words of wisdom. Of course, I adore when he says “Oh, bother!”
Winnie the Pooh Quotes to Love
But now I am in love with new quotes and words of wisdom such as when Pooh says, “People say nothing is impossible, but I do nothing everyday.”
“It’s always a sunny day, when Christopher Robin comes to play.” and my absolute favorite, “Silly old bear.”
Doing nothing often leads to the very best something.
The movie starts with Christopher Robin in a job with a dismal future. Work has left little time for his family and he has forgotten about simpler times and Winnie the Pooh helps him rekindle the love and togetherness that a family needs.
This then leads to another wonderful quote, “Doing nothing often leads to the very best something.”
With the help of Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, and Tigger, and his wife and daughter, Christopher Robin’s friends help get back to the important things in life. I know this is a message that I find we all could use in our busy lives.
You will definitely enjoy this new Disney Movie as you fall in love with Christopher Robin and his cherished friends, especially Winnie the Pooh.
