While out in LA for the #ChristopherRobinEvent, we visited Madame Tussauds Hollywood to celebrate the release of Marvel Studios Avengers: Infinity War on Digital and Blu-ray and interview Trinh Tran.
I love the Marvel movies so visiting the Marvel Super Heroes 4D exhibit was AWESOME!
It is absolutely amazing how lifelike the wax celebrities look. I felt like I was really meeting all my favorite super heroes.
Why, Hello Thor! I will help you fight the bad guys Chris Hemsworth!
My nails are not as sharp as Wolverines or Hugh Jackman, lol.
Fighting for freedom, “I can do this all day!” with Captain America Chris Evans.
Iron Man and Stark –“Sometimes you gotta run before you can walk.” (Iron Man) I know the feeling, Tony!
Did you know that while at the museum you can make your own wax hand? We were lucky enough to make an Infinity Guantlet. Yes, that is right! I now have the all the stones in my possession!
First, you had to put your hand in ice for 30 seconds. See the chill in my face! Then you put your hand in 175 degree wax. Then back in the ice. Hot! Cold! Hot!, to make the mold of your hand so that you can have your own Infinity Guantlet. Stay tuned. Next week, I will reveal what it looks like!
There are so many other great celebrities to see at Madame Tussauds Hollywood but I will save those for another post.
By the end of our trip, I was feeling strong and powerful, almost like I had wings.
This was definitely the feeling of women power during our interview with Trihn Tran.
Interview with Trinh Tran
While at Madame Tussauds LA, we were lucky enough to interview Trinh Tran. Tran is the Executive Producer of Avengers: Infinity War. Tran also serves as executive producer on the untitled fourth installment of the “Avengers” franchise, which is set for a May 6, 2019, release.
The first question did not beat around the bush. Avengers: Infinity War left us with so many emotions. Some fans were left in shock and angry and we wanted to know her response.
“I have been trying to avoid the Public to be honest with you after the opening only because I was really nervous about how everybody was going to respond to the ending and it actually feels really weird because I can’t believe I can actually talk about it now.
Uh but I think it’s just everybody just embracing which is really shocking and great because you know, a lot of people, they’re fan favorites, uh, didn’t make it, uh, whether it was, you know, Peter Parker or Quill but whomever it is, uh, they didn’t survive the ending and I think that the shock is that the bad guy won.”
‘How do you decide who survives?
When this questioned was raised, it reminded me of the scene in Avengers: Infinity War when Dr. Strange explains why he gives Thanos the Time Stone. He tells Tony Stark that he analyzed 14 million possible futures and there is only one reality in which the heroes actually manage to defeat Thanos. I was eager to hear how Tran would respond because I think it is pretty exciting to see how they set us up for the next movie.
“It was pretty difficult. Sitting in the story meeting we really had to make the decision of who we want to survive so that we could tell the next story and we sat there and we boarded out, we brainstormed, we’d sit in the room, we hash it out every single day, involvement in pre-production and it was really trying to figure out how this was going to connect to Avengers 4 and we wanted to be able to tell a story. I won’t get into it much because I don’t want to spoil anything but there is a specific reason why some of these people survive.”
When asked her thoughts on if there is a character that she really would have wanted to survive, Tran did not hesitate to share that we shared the same thoughts on what I think is the saddest moment in the movie.
“I had the same reaction the first time I watched Peter Parker and it was pretty hard, pretty emotional to see him go through it especially him being so young and he’s Tony’s protégé. Tony taught him certain things so it was pretty, I was pretty heartbroken when we decided that he had to go.”
On Women in Marvel
Tran shared that Victoria Alonso is amazing.
“She’s one of the Top 3 at Marvel and you know, I actually used to be her Assistant for a period of time and she is so supportive. Marvel’s so wonderful because everybody’s very supportive and positive and really try to nurture your career. And Victoria especially, since Day One, brought me over to – to be with her and really allow me, you know, to just grow. She’s an advocate for bringing more women into the Film Industry. We need more like I see so many.”
“I wish we can all be in the story meetings together. And I think that it is important we have such a different perspective and we need more of that in the industry. And she is a fighter for that which I really love. I’d love to see more and more of that. We’re doing more and more of that at Marvel, which is amazing.”
Tran spoke to us about advice for young women who want to work in film.
“I think first of all, I would say don’t worry. Just go on a journey and don’t worry about the outcome because ten years ago, never did I imagine that I would be right here, you know, producing two of the biggest Marvel Movies. I thought, Kevin was crazy at one point when he said, do you want to do it, do you want to spearhead this Movie? You want me to what? And I think also just embrace your difference. You know, like I said, as I mentioned earlier, films are stronger when ideas are generated and questioned by different perspectives.”
“…films are stronger when ideas are generated and questioned by different perspectives.”

When asked, Which Avenger would you want to be?, I thought that she picked the perfect one.
“I know Captain Marvel is not Infinity War but she’s the one.
I’m looking forward to her movie and I think it’s about time. And you know, it’s only because she’s so strong and what’s so important is that she embodies leadership and we got to have more of that especially female so I’m looking forward to March (2019) when this movie comes out.”
At the end of our interview, we headed back out tho Thor to take a group photo with Trinh Tran. Look at all that female power!
This cinematic event ten-years in the making comes home Digitally on July 31 and Blu-ray on Aug. 14 with over two hours of bonus.

Amazing! Waiting for the big reveal, your hand in wax!
Oh how cool. I would so love to visit a wax museum.
What a great interview. I also loved your visit to Madame Tussauds. The wax figures looked so real and I can’t wait to see how your wax hand turns out.
I’ve always wanted to go to Madame Tussauds! It looks like so much fun and they actually look just like the actors!
Looks like a lot of fun thanks for sharing the adventure.
Nice looking trip and a fun way to feel like your in that world.
I still haven’t seen this movie and I know my husband and I would enjoy it!
I’ve never been to a Madame Tussaud’s–I didn’t know they had one in Los Angeles!
It would be great to see Madame Tussaud’s. I bet this exhibit was really amazing, too. From what I’ve seen on TV or in magazines, etc., their figures are amazingly accurate.
Thank you for this interesting post.
