This post is part of a sponsored campaign for Schleich. I received compensation for my participation, but my review and opinions are my own.
This holiday season, give the gift of imaginative play. As a mom and educator, I love when toys can spark the joy and memories of favorite hobbies. My youngest loves to ride horses and enjoys when we visit local farms.
I love her smile. This fall, we went apple picking in upstate New York and she was so happy to see that she was able to ride too.
You can only imagine how happy she was to when the Schleich Riding Center with Rider, Horses & Accessories arrived at our house.
Immediately, we sat together and looked at the step-by-step directions with pictures. I knew that she would love to build the riding center. I loved watching her problem solve to figure out where each piece needed to go.
Once we had put the Riding Center together, it was time to play. Isn’t that what it is all about? We happened to have green oaktag in the house and my daughter liked how it created the perfect setting. One of the best features of the Riding Center is all the little features. Inside, there are many stalls for the horses. They have areas where they can feed and drink. Each stall has a door outside with a fenced in pen.
Incorporating imaginative play into your child’s activities helps foster creative thinking and fun. It is my job to encourage her when she is involved in such play activities. There are times when I get involved and there are other times when I think it is best just to sit back and enjoy how she is interacting with what she is playing with.

Look at that smile when riding! There is just something about horses that we all love. I like this playcenter, and could see why your daughter would too. It looks fun, and is quite realistic.
This looks like a great present. I remember loving horses at that age.
How fun! I love imaginative play!! So perfect for the mind and creativity!! My son really loves making and telling stories and his teacher has mentioned that creativity like storytelling and imaginary play are great precursors for the ability to read and write!!
My 5yr old is obsessed with animals, we play with littlest Pet Shops she says she is going to be a vet one day,
This is so nice, my niece is into everything horses! It would instill creative play just having free unstructured time to play with something like this!
This is such a gorgeous play set with Rider Horses. My daughter would love this set for the Holidays.
I love the details on Scheich toys. I think this would be great for any horse happy kid.
