Where is the form
We have a plan to get out of the house and where to meet in case of fire.
We use our Super Powers by having a good escape plan in case of a fire and using our skills to keep the batteries fresh in our smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
Ensuring properly functioning smoke and CO alarms are installed throughout the home – one on each level and in every bedroom, as the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) recommends – is my first line of defense for fire prevention. Additionally, I test the alarms regularly
We try to discuss evacuation routes, what to do, where to go, etc. I have to do this again since moving and we have a couple smoke detecotrs but not enough for the size of this house. Working on all of this.
We use our super powers by being cautious of how things are stored and where they are stored. We have fire extinguishers in many rooms of the house. We change batteries in smoke alarms every 6 months.
I live by myself and my super power is to quickly get out of the house without panicking.
We always make sure we are stocked up on candles and batteries. We also have two designated escape routes if something were to happen.
We have a fire plan in place and run mock fire drills every 6 months so we are prepared.
We run fire drill a few times each year.
We have a plan on how to get out of the house and where to meet once were outside
We have an escape plan and a meeting place.
We have fire escape plans
We make sure we check our fire alarms often and we have a plan of what to do in case of a fire.
My husband checks our fire and carbon monoxide alarms periodically to make sure the batteries are working. It’s just the two of us at home now but we do need to have a plan just in case.
our family superpower is caring, so i think we all make sure everyone is taken care of…
We have an escape plan made!
We have an escape plan, we all discuss with our daughters safety when it comes to anything that may start a fire, such as matches, candles and electrical outlets.
We check the smoke alarms, which need replacing because they’re really old, at least once a month. The escape plan is to not pause to think about what to take but to get out as quickly as possible.
We have five fire detectors. Regularly check plugins and keep our senses about us. Double check the stove and make sure not to leave candles burning etc
Know how to get out and have a meeting place !
We used our super powers to plan an excellent escape route.
We use our super powers by making sure that all the batteries in the smoke detectors are changed every time day light savings time changes.
We used our super powers to come up with a safe and secure escape plan.
I use my super powers to make sure that all my fraternity brothers keep the batteries in the smoke detectores.
We test our alarms and extinguishers, along with what to do in different situations, on a regular schedule. It’s part of regular maintenance, like cleaning the oven.
How do you and your family use your super powers to be prepared for fire safety?
We use our super powers of preplanning, and doing a drill once a year. We know one of the fire captains here in town and he will stop by now and again.
Surprise fire drills :D. The kids love it.
Making sure everyone knows what to do is part of the routine when checking detectors.
We have an escape plan and a meeting place
My son put a plastic spatula on the glass top stove accidentally after making eggs at 5 am. We awoke to a smoke full house. The smoke detectors batteries were dead. I wish I had a 10 year detector.
We have an escape route and a folder to grab with important papers.
We have a meeting place in case we get separated
We have discussed a fire safety plan.
We have a safety plan.
We have a safety plan in place!
Knowledge is key. I even taught my 11 year old niece how to work the windows and to pop the screen out. Its also important to teach that anything in the house is not important enough to risk your life over. If there is a fire drop everything and get out safely. If there is smoke crawl on the floor.
Fire prevention is so important!
We have a practiced escape plan.
We always keep fresh batteries in the smoke alarms.
I have many smoke alarms throughout the house and a few fire extinguishers
I dont know about the super powers but would like to
We planned out what to do in an emergency.
We check the smoke detectors periodically.
I try to stay on top with the super power to plan an practiced escape route, just in case..
We always have updated alarms because in 1993 our house burnt down while we were at work n school.
We practice drills every now and then with kids
We discuss the scary what-ifs so we can face it, plan for it, and be prepared for it. That way the scariest thing is still scary, but not as terrifying.
We use our superpowers to prevent fires and in case of a fire to escape the house safely.
I live alone. I just put new batteries in my smoke alarm. Have a good fire extinguisher.
Thanks for the contest.
