About Sesame Street: Trick or Treat on Sesame Street
October is the season of pumpkin carving, dress up, storytelling and a special visit to the Count’s Castle. There will be no tricks, just treats when Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and Sesame Workshop release Sesame Street: Trick or Treat on Sesame Street, the newest Halloween-themed release from Sesame Street in ten years, on DVD August 29, 2017. Available to own for $14.97 SRP, Sesame Street: Trick or Treat on Sesame Street also includes thirteen minutes of brand new animated content, an extra episode and a bonus themed digital storybook to download.
Elmo couldn’t be more excited about Halloween and his homemade Galactic Stan costume, but his feelings take a turn when he gets jealous of another boy’s fancy store-bought costume. Thanks to Alan and Abby, and some wishful thinking, Elmo realizes that he doesn’t need anything special, he just needs to use his imagination. Get a hold of Sesame Street: Trick or Treat on Sesame Street, and enjoy over an hour of fun stories and songs complete with an additional full episode, The Sesame Street Dress Up Club and the PDF book: Which Witch is Which?
In Sesame Street: Trick or Treat on Sesame Street children will learn about emotions, creativity and the power of imagination. They are taught to handle jealousy in a constructive way, turning envy into ambition.
“We are thrilled to release this exciting, new Sesame Street Halloween DVD,” said Mary Ellen Thomas, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Vice President, Family & Animation Marketing. “In celebration of Halloween, Sesame Street: Trick or Treat on Sesame Street inspires kids to be creative and make their own unique magic with their imaginations.”
Now in its 47th season, Sesame Street is the longest-running program in children’s television and the number one top-of-mind preschool show with moms. The series has received more Emmy awards than any other show in television history, as well as a Lifetime Achievement Emmy Award honoring the 40th year.

I don’t remember how old my great niece was, but she was under 2 years old. We were watching Sesame Street on television and Elmo came on. She immediately sat up on the floor and started saying EMO EMO EMO …. lol It was so cute!! 🙂

I really want this DVD so badly for myself!!! I am a big Sesame Street fan and I love watching every episode across the Internet!!!
I have had my kids for years watching and learning from Sesame Street. They time it meant the most is when my son with autism non-verbal starting getting excited and learning from Sesame Street. That means and says alot about that show how it can reach and teach so many children.
I loved watching Sesame Street as a child (this is before there was cable tv or VCRs) . In kindergarten, we put on a play using songs from Sesame Street. My mom bought the Sesame Street album….and I still have it.
I think my favorite Seame moment I remember watching was the Wegman Dogs and Kermit the Frog’s news segments. As a kid I watched Sesame Street, and as a 30 year old autistic adult I still watch it. I enjoy watching this show so much!
My favorite memory of Sesame Street is how they teach our children numbers, letters and many more concepts. Elmo is a huge favorite with our little preschooler!
Watching it when I was little! 🙂
I remember watching Sesame Street every morning before going to school!
My favorite memory is when I took my Granddaughter to Sesame Street Live. She loved it so much, she said Thank you, Grandma, you really surprised me.
My favorite Sesame Street memory is when I went to see Sesame Street Live with my family. Thanks for the giveaway. I hope that I win.
I remember watching it with my brother when we were young..We loved Big bird
I always liked Big Bird. I was at a birthday party as a child and the friend’s parent dressed up as Big Bird. I thought it was really him. Great memory.
I liked watching Sesame Street as a kid. Mr. Snuffleupagus is one of my favorite’s.
We would watch this as kids.
My favorite memory is watching my daughter watch the show for the first time. She fell in love with Elmo and for days would laugh just like him.
