Do you believe in fairies?
Then, your child will love the My Fairy Garden. PlayMonster knows how to get kids thinking and having fun. But what better way to have this fun is when it is educational and inspiring.
My Fairy Garden- Freya’s Magical Cottage is geared for ages 4+, Children might need a little assistance with finding a place to create their own magical garden to grow. Our Fairy Freya needs a new home filled with love and beautiful flowers. Hazel her sidekick Bunny is ready for a new place to call home too.
Putting the Fairy Garden together is great for children to follow directions and to learn how a garden grows. The girls let the soil sit submerged in water for about 40 minutes. Once it was moist enough it was time to fill the garden. Both sections for top and bottom require soil.
Everyone’s hands will get a little dirty but it is all in the name of fun and making your Fairy Garden beautiful. It was wonderful to see sisters and friends come together in making the fairy garden a home for Fairy Freya.
With a packet full of seeds ready to be spread into the soil, the girls chose where they were to be placed. We didn’t know what seed was which so it will only be more exciting to see it what grows when and where.
Everything you need to make you Fairy Garden come to life is included. However, you can add some rocks and stones if you would like. I would suggest you wait until all your seeds are flourishing to see where you have room.
Once the seeds have been placed and covered with soil, it is time to sprinkle some water. Now it is all about waiting and patience. Since the weather is so warm in NYC right now we were able to see the seeds start to sprout within 2 days. This will vary depending on temperature and time of year.
All tools are included in continuing to maintain your fairy garden. Make your fairy garden is being watered on an as needed basis. You don’t water to overwater it or have it too dry. This is a great way to teach children about responsibility as well. Let them be the ones checking in the morning if it needs water or the garden needs to be rotated to be in sunlight.
Within a few days, we had sprouts. Included in your Fairy Garden box is an educational resource to help children understand how fairy gardens grow.
Why do fairy gardens need water, air, and sunlight to grow? Ask your children these questions, let them think about it. The fairy garden develops important STEM skills. So while school may be out of session the learning and the fun doesn’t have to stop.
With a variety of Garden to choose from you can start other gardens or add or other Fairies to your garden. Everyone needs a friends and so does Freya. Shop them here to add to your collection and see your gardens come to life.
Putting the My Fairy Garden together was a lot of fun for everyone. Watching my girls eagerly check every day to see how much has grown has been a highlight each morning.

What a wonderful idea! So many kids don’t have access to a real garden, and this is perfect! It would be a great gift, too.
My daughter would love this. She loves to help out and loves gardens she used to help pick cucumbers and tomatoes when we had one last year. I can hear her now saying this is my little garden lol
This looks fun. I have always wanted to do a fairy garden in the garden, but the local kids would totally mess with it. Fairies are such fun!
