Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament is a great experience for the entire family. Kids, parents and grandparents too will have an evening of chivalry, dining and entertainment.
When you visit the castle to see the tournament, you will also enjoy a delicious four-course feast. Fear not non-meateaters. They also have vegetarian options available.
My girls did not know exactly what we were about to see and thought that the experience was awesome. When we arrived, we found out that we were going to be cheering on the Green Knight. As the tournament began, we felt united with the once strangers around us to cheer and applaud for our knight as he jousted and prepared for the battle of the sword.
In addition to the beautiful horses, we were also treated to the live flight of the royal falcon. You truly feel like you have stepped back in time.
This is more than learning about history. It brings what you have learned to life so much that you become part of the cheering crowd for the kingdom.
It was suggested to arrive early and it was an excellent idea. The castle is bustling with things to do, drinks and festivities to watch before you are seated for the tournament.
While we were there, we noticed that there were birthday parties, church gatherings and people celebrating anniversaries all around us. Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament is the perfect place to celebrate these occassions for an evening of fun!
