While at Disney Social Media Moms in May, Lauren and my girls had the opportunity to meet Belle. Right then and there their love for Beauty gre and they wanted to watch again and again. It is no surprise that we are super excited to follow the journey of the new Beauty and the Beast coming to theaters March 2017.
Tale as old as time
Song as old as rhyme
Beauty and the beast.
Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” is a live-action re-telling of the studio’s animated classic which refashions the classic characters from the tale as old as time for a contemporary audience, staying true to the original music while updating the score with several new songs. “Beauty and the Beast” is the fantastic journey of Belle, a bright, beautiful and independent young woman who is taken prisoner by a beast in his castle.
Despite her fears, she befriends the castle’s enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the Beast’s hideous exterior and realize the kind heart and soul of the true Prince within. The film stars: Emma Watson as Belle; Dan Stevens as the Beast; Luke Evans as Gaston, the handsome, but shallow villager who woos Belle; Oscar® winner Kevin Kline as Maurice, Belle’s eccentric, but lovable father; Josh Gad as Lefou, Gaston’s long-suffering aide-de-camp; Golden Globe® nominee Ewan McGregor as Lumiere, the candelabra; Oscar nominee Stanley Tucci as Maestro Cadenza, the harpsichord; Oscar nominee Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, the mantel clock; and two-time Academy Award® winner Emma Thompson as the teapot, Mrs. Potts.
Directed by Oscar® winner Bill Condon based on the 1991 animated film, “Beauty and the Beast” is produced by Mandeville Films’ David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman with eight-time Oscar-winning composer Alan Menken, who won two Academy Awards® (Best Original Score and Best Song) for the 1991 animated film, providing the score, which will include new recordings of the original songs written by Menken and Howard Ashman, as well as several new songs written by Menken and three-time Oscar winner Tim Rice. “Beauty and the Beast” will be released in U.S. theaters on March 17, 2017.

Emma Watson is going to be so good as Belle, and the new Beauty and the Beast movie is going to be incredible to see. I love this story about a girl and a beast..
She makes a beautiful Belle! I can’t wait to see this movie!
I am going to have to make my mom go see this with me since I don’t have any young girls to go see it with.
I would love to see this movie. Looks interesting
I so cant wait to see this movie. I think Emma Watson will be great as Belle and they did an awesome job on the Beast, he looks pretty cool.
I bet this is going to be an amazing movie. Emma Watson is lovely & a great actress, it looks like a great cast & the story is a classic.
I loved the cartoon version when I was a kid so I can’t wait to see this movie. I’m hoping to see it with my mom.
I am looking forward to seeing this, I think Emma Watson is going to be great!
I am so excited about this! It looks beautiful!
Very excited for the newest live action film, I think Emma Watson as Belle is just perfect and I’ve always wanted to see how the beautiful yellow gold dress would look in real life, fantastic!
I think the scenery is beautiful, but I’m really disappointed with Belle’s dress. It’s not nearly as pretty as the dress in the animated film and it kind of reminds me of a prom dress.
