Just last week, I joined fellow NYC bloggers to attend Momtrends Mom’s Night Out. With such a hectic start to the school year and getting my girls here and there and everywhere for extracurricular activites, I definitely needed a night out.
To my surprise, we spent the start of the evening enjoying rooftop views of the NYC skyline. Although there was a chill in the air, I enjoyed it after the heatwave we had been through.
Did you know that 1 in 5 moms are stressed out about their own health? Moms need to be social. Laughing, talking and enjoying time together help us feel revived and refreshed when we return home to the ones we love.
After enjoying sometime outside, it was time to get crafty!
At the Decorate Your Clorox Containers station, we added a little pizazz to a product that we use in a constant basis in my house. The minute I saw the pineapple paper, I knew that I would have to make this special for my mom, Flo.
While we are on the topic of disinfecting, don’t forget to wipe down your phone and computer. Keep those germs away!
At the next station, Quaker asked us what would we do with an extra hour in the morning. I would love an extra hour. Sleep would be great but as long as my kiddos were still sleeping, I could finally read the book that I have been trying to open! With Quaker, you can easily make overnight oats. You can have a healthy breakfast for the busy morning!
Philips Avent helped us create New Mom Gift Boxes that would be ready to go. This was perfect because I just found out a friend of mine is expecting. I know this is a great gift because I used Avent bottles and binkis for my girls when they were born.
The next station was inspired by Glad. Did you know that Glad kitchen garbage bags have Glad Odor Shield and Febreze to neutralize unpleasant odors?
Since this was a Mom’s Night Out, we used the oils of aromatherapy to create our own scented body lotion. How refreshing!
We were also able to sample treats from Earth’s Best. I know the cookies and bars pictured below were favorites in my house while my girls were toddlers.
Now, Earth’s Best has expanded the line to include a variety of snacks for older children as well. My youngest loved the Chocolate Mini Cookies.
At the end of the evening, we were able to take home our crafts from Clorox, Quaker, Philips Avent and Glad as well as a great bag of treats. Thank you to Momtrends and the brands for allowing us to destress and learn about a great group of brands too.
How do you spend a Mom’s Night Out?
That sounded like a fun night!
My Mom’s Night Out is really more like a Mom’s Night In! I love curling up with a few hours at home just to read, or browse the internet, or watch my favorite TV shows that have been waiting for me! Quiet time gets me re-charged!
Thanks for supporting the event… had so much fun!
I love this!!! What a great thing, not sure how I would spend an extra hour.
It looks like a great time was had by all. Thanks for the giveaway.

this looks like a lot of fun!
That view is spectacular! How fun !!!!!!!!!!!
I love a girls night out with cocktails and a patio!!! I live in Minnesota – so the winters stink with going out!
I love sitting outside!
Now this looks like my kind of night out! I love stuff like this. It’s so important for women to take a break and disconnect for a little while. I think it makes me a better mom to have a break.
Incredible views of the NY skyline I would love to see it in person looks like you had a great time.
We don’t have a night out, it is really dangerous at night where I am. It looks like all you bloggers had a really good time!
What an awesome event!! I usually spend a Mom’s night out with my girlfriends drinking wine. In reality I would love to just curl up on the couch with a book lol!
