Every year, my girls and I love to attend Kidzvuz Back to School Event. It is a great place for us to learn about new brands and share them with you our readers.
When I think of Back to School, I think of ways to keep lunch and snack time during school and after school yummy and fun.
There were a great many brands there and in my goody bag to do that. Juicy Juice was there with some drink recipes that adults and kids will love. And when I say love, I mean it! We were obsessed with the Berry Sparkler drinks! Such an easy recipe too! Berries, seltzer and Juicy Juice Berry for a refreshing drink.
The kids had fun decorating umbrella tops for their drinks. Adding an umbrella is always a fun way to turn your drink into a party!
The Backyard Food Company offers a variety of jams, butters and relishes that are the perfect accompaniment to your crackers, breads and veggies. My girls and husband love pickles and spicy so they would enjoy many of these treats.
If you are not near Rhode Island or Massachusetts, you can purchase online at The Backyard Food Company.
Luckybar protein bars are a great alternative for picky eaters and are perfect for snack. I tried a Strawberry Sandcastle and would enjoy it for my own snack.
Neal Brothers Potato Chips and TickleWater were a surprise in our goody bag. I will definitely be looking for them in stores because my girls and I could not get enough of them. Refreshing sparkling water and yummy potato chips with a variety of flavors are a perfect treat.
Easy Peasy Patches are great for kids to design on their own – Just peel and stick and you are ready to go. I cannot sew. I wish I could, but I am glad that I have this alternative.
Domain.ME is a great way to get the domain you have always wanted for your business or personal site. They gave me great tools to work on a media kit and I cannot wait to try it!
Mermaids were in the house at Kidzvuz. Fin Fun Mermaid Tails offers swimmable mermaid tails with fins that are classified as swim gear, but for some, are a dress up costume. My girls take swim lessons and would love to test these out in the water.
Stay tuned for more info on an exciting new app called Blue Apprentice – fun and science education combined!
Zandra was at Kidzvuz to share her beauty line that she started when she was 9 years old. That is awesome. She wanted to make natural products that were better for you than what you could find in the stores.
Zandra showed my girls how to make their own body scrub using natural products. They couldn’t wait to get home and try them.
When we were all done visiting brands, it was time to report on our favorite items. That is the heart of Kidzvuz – giving kids a say and letting them report on their findings.
One last thing – Pip’s Island! My youngest is 6 and she wanted to learn more and more about this interactive experience coming to NYC in the fall. Find out more about this unique adventure on the Pip’s Island website.
