This post was developed in partnership with Tom’s of Maine. All opinions are my own.
About a week ago, I received a package containing six Tom’s of Maine Long Lasting Deodorant tubes.
The following were included:
- Long Lasting Unscented
- Long Lasting Lavender
- Long Lasting Powder
- Long Lasting Tea Tree
- Long Lasting Apricot
- Long Lasting Lemongrass
I began using the deodorant right away. I chose Long Lasting Lavendar first. I have been using them now for about a week.
Before starting with Tom’s of Maine, I used an antiperspirant every day. I don’t know if you have felt like me but after awhile, I find that my antiperspirant begins to fail.
I have always wanted to try more natural or organic products. My older two daughters have used Tom’s of Maine before because I wanted them to avoid using chemicals.
So, during the hottest month in the classroom, I made the switch. We had hot days. Humid days and sticky days.
I have tried to become more aware of what is inside the products I use everyday. I never knew how many chemicals and unnecessary ingredients are in products that we use on our bodies.
After trying lavender, I tried refreshing lemongrass.
I felt clean and fresh all day until it was time to shower in the evening. I think by making simple choices like switching what deodorants we use, we can make better choices for our bodies.
This is why I made natural deodorants the choice for my tweens.
