Last weekend, we were invited by Momtrends and Liberty Science Center to visit the new Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Exhibit: Secrets of the Sewer.
We gathered together with other NYC Moms to have lunch which was of course, PIZZA with the Turtles!
Liberty Science Center has always been one of our favorite places to visit. Hands on educational fun is always had and much is learned! We were there when the Infinity Climber first arrived and shared with you about the past Rubik’s Cube exhibit and Dora the Explorer exhibit.
While at the Pizza Party, the kids had the opportunity to act like the TMNT and be ninja problem solvers.
From the minute that you walk into the exhibit, you immediately feel like a ninja ready to beat the Kraang and Shredder.
We were transported to the underground home of the turtles where the brothers train to be the best ninjas that they can be.
Just like the Turtles learn, teamwork always helps them through every situation and we found that while in the sewer lair, teamwork helped us too.
Everyone gets the opportunity to be like the ninjas and practice necessary skills like balance.
They used the knowledge of problem solving and technology to act like Donatello too.
If you have a turtle fan in your life, Secrets of the Sewer is one exhibit not to miss this summer. It is open until September 5th and is included with general admission.
I love that there are interactive and team building activities. The exhibit looks like an all around learning experience.
