NKOTB is the famous acronym that anyone growing up in the 90’s knows exactly what it stands for. NKOTB is original BOY BAND New Kids On The Block.
As a pre-teen I remember listening to their music over and over.
I was fortunate to see them on several occasions and most likely had lost my voice due to all the screaming and singing at the top of my lungs. It was an experience that I will never forget.
The die-hard fans of NKOTB consider themselves Block Heads and will travel pretty much anywhere to see them perform. Well guess what ladies? You can now see them on TV again as they have recently launched the 2nd season of ROCK THIS BOAT on Pop TV airing on Wednesdays @ 8pm.
As a huge fan and a blogger I was able to get a sneak peek of episode 2 of Rock This Boat. It was great to see that NKOTB have only changed for the better. They are family men who absolutely love their fans. This is actually the 7th year of hosting the cruise and concert for fans. This 4 night cruise brings back memories for everyone on board. It takes you back to your childhood when everything seemed so much easier and all you worried about what issue of Teen Beat you had and what posters might have been up on your walls in your bedroom. 
After the episode, Broadway Bill Lee from CBSFM radio station 101.1 and Entertainment Tonight host Jen Peros hosted a Q & A session that was live streamed with the band members. It is amazing how you can remember first and last names of everyone but somehow can’t remember what you ate yesterday. Their music is still being played and I know that when I hear it on the radio, I turn the volume up and sign along.
It was wonderful to be in such an intimate setting with them. This has to be the closest I have ever seen them compared to seeing them in concert at some arenas and being in the last row. As a concert goer you didn’t complain you were just happy to be in the moment and enjoy the performance.

I never followed this band. I grew up in the 60’s and 70’s and I am a die hard Rock fan.
I remember this group. What fun. Must have been cool to be there.
