Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows Opens in theaters today.
A few weeks ago, I saw an advanced screening with my younger daughters who absolutely love the turtles. Without seeing the first movie, they were very into the characters and story of TMNT: Out of the Shadows.
Pictured below is one happy turtle fan who enjoyed seeing TMNT save not just NYC, but the world!
I was invited to attend the Press Junket and was able to meet some of the cast members.
While at the junket, I asked about the appeal of the turtle to all ages. I know my 6 year old daughter is obsessed with them, but being at the junket, I learned that men and women of all ages were big fans too. They span decades of fans who love comics, cartoons, ninjas and of course, pizza. My brother was the big fan growing up and because of that, I can even sing the theme song. Turtles in a half shell! Turtle Power!
Stephen Amell and Tyler Perry spoke about their roles as Casey Jones and Baxter Stockman. It was interesting to hear how these comic book characters were chosen to be part of Out of the Shadows.
This lively bunch of actors obviously had a great time filming. BeBop and Rocksteady were played by Gary Anthony Williams and WWE Superstar Stephen “Sheamus” Farrelly. To prepare for the roles, they watched videos of actual rhinoceros and wart hogs.

They are a great group of guys who make a great family of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
That cool.
Looks like you had a lot of fun and everyone has a story to tell for years. Thanks for sharing.
What fun to meet all those guys. My son would love this movie, I’m sure. Thanks for sharing!
What an awesome post and experience! Love it! My daughter wants to go and see this so it is on the list for next weekend! Thanks so much for sharing 🙂
You must have had so much fun meeting the actors and learning more about the Teenage Mutant ninja turtles.
This is super awesome! Glad you were invited to the screening and met the actors from the film. I’m looking forward to seeing this movie this summer!

This looks like it was a lot of fun. I love the TMNT ever since they came out several years ago.
