With Summer comes along vacations, trips to the beach and water parks or even your local playground. Last minute adventures with friends or family can be exciting, however you always want to be prepared for little one. Water play can happen anytime, so parents and caregivers should be ready with these must-haves.
As seasons change it is always a great time to update your diaper bag or it could be your beach bag too! Your child has been growing so much over the year so some items might be obsolete or they might have outgrown that extra onesie. You don’t want little one missing out on any water adventures if they don’t have the correct swimwear. When it comes to keeping babies bottoms covered and protected Huggies is my families first choice.
Here are 4 must have items to keep you water ready this summer:
- Pack the Right Swimwear: Whether it be running through backyard sprinklers or going to a water park, Huggies Little Swimmers disposable swimpants are made for worry-free water play. The easy-open sides make changes a breeze, so everyone can get back to having fun in the sun. Plus, they now have new Finding Dory designs your little fish will love!
- Sunscreen: The sun will be out in full force for the summer and that means parents need to protect children’s skin when they are outside. The higher the better when it comes to SPF levels and remember to reapply regularly! Many swim tops come with a UPF of 50+ to help protect as well. Don’t forget to reapply!
- Proper Eyewear: Protect children’s eyes from excessive chlorine and chemicals by buying kid-sized goggles. When the kids are ready to take a break from the water, protect their eyes from the sun’s bright rays with sunglasses. Parents should keep a couple sets of replacement lenses in the pool bag just in case someone’s shades get cracked or scratched during a trip. Grab a beach hat too, this will offer added protection for their eyes as well. The trick is not let them know you are putting it on them.
- First Aid Kit: Along with packing pool towels and water bottles, parents should not forget a basic first aid kit. Include plenty of waterproof Band-Aids, antibiotic ointment, children’s pain reliever, ear drops and bug spray. Bumps and bruises happen all the time no matter where you are so you always want to be protected.
Someone is excited to see Dory on the latest package of wipes. The Clutch n’ Clean wipe package is easy to transport anywhere and is another essential to your diaper bag or even to keep in your car for those unexpected needs or mishaps.
Did you know that Huggies has teamed up with Disney ? While in attendance for Disney Social Media Moms Celebration (DisneySMMC) I was able to hear directly from speakers regarding the importance of Huggies and how the brand works directly those in need.
