Raising 3 Savvy Ladies is happy to report that the Amazon Original Series Tumble Leaf begins its second season on Amazon Prime May 6th. We have been fans since the beginning and enjoyed when we first learned about Tumble Leaf. This show fosters lifelong creative learning and has won 5 Daytime Emmy Awards. As part of Amazon, it is available for Prime members. This is another reason why I enjoy being an Amazon Prime Member – quality shows for all ages.
Join Fig, a delightfully curious blue fox, and his best, wiggliest caterpillar friend Stick as they embark on new nature-filled adventures and discover science through play! Created byDrew Hodges (Community) and executive produced by Hodges and Kelli Bixler (The Roadents) of the award-winning studio Bix Pix Entertainment, Tumble Leaf features voice work from Christopher Downs as Fig, Brooke Wolloff as Maple, Zac McDowell as Hedge, Addie Zintel as Pine, and Alex Trugman as Ginkgo.
When I spoke to my youngest savvy, one of the things that she like about Tumble Leaf was the music. It is calm and peaceful. She loves that the characters use their imagination. Her favorite character is Stick. She likes “the little guy that is a caterpillar.” He likes trying to do things by himself.
As I watched the episodes with her, I noticed great use of science vocabulary and concepts embedded in the episode. My daughter thought that her cousin, who is 3, would love the Tumble Leaf series too. I think she is right. It is perfect for the preschool crowd.
Prime members can soon stream the second season of Tumble Leaf at no additional cost to their Prime membership with the Amazon Video app for TVs, connected devices and mobile devices, or online at http://amzn.to/1NbbdHV.
