Happy Holidays!
During our time at the Kidvuz Holiday Event, we had such a great time learning about brands that support social good, educational toys that support STEAM and coding and the arts.
Did you see The Good Dinosaur? We did. The animation was absolutely amazing. Keep in mind that there is family death in the movie and it was definitely a moment that I needed to talk to my youngest about.
Also at the holiday event was Wubble X. Lots of bouncing fun!
Looking for gifts that give back? I can tell you that the artisans who work with Heart of Haiti make beautiful baskets, jewelry and metalwork. Heart of Haiti poducts are available at Macys.
When Food for Thoughts cards are purchased, a sandwich is purchased to help feed someone who is hungry.
Save the Children also offers great gifts that give too.
Lincoln Center was in attendance and they even brought a ballerina’s dress from the Nutcracker. She was in awe!
My daughters were immediately drawn to Compose Yourself. With this game, you are able to compose your own song and share it . My youngest is 5 and my oldest is 12 and they were equally as interested in it.
My girls just participated in the National Hour of Code initiative. As a classroom teacher, I can definitely tell you that kids are interested and want to know more. Think Fun offers the following games that you might want to check out:
My girls were definitely in the zone – the Broadway Zone at the event. Connect with all the stars and shows!
With Star Wars The Force Awakens almost here, Star Wars toys are all the rage.
Have you heard of all these brands? Will any of them be on your list?
I love that bowl from heart of haiti, i need to go to Macy’s and check it out! Thanks for telling me about it!
