When Heroes was on NBC, my husband and I watched together. There were times where I missed and needed to catch up. Now with Heroes Reborn, I can watch TV without the TV. On my time. When I can. And now that my girls occupy the TV, on my desktop!
Watch Heroes Reborn on your own time. When I’m ready, I curl up under my favorite blanket on a corner of my couch and enjoy watching as many shows as I can.
From creator/executive producer Tim Kring, who imagined NBC’s original critically-acclaimed 2006 “Heroes” series, comes “Heroes Reborn,” an epic 13-episode event series that chronicles the lives of ordinary people who discover they possess extraordinary abilities.
A year ago, a terrorist attack in Odessa, Texas, left the city decimated. Blamed for the tragic event, those with extraordinary abilities are in hiding or on the run from those with nefarious motives.
Two such vigilantes include Luke (Zachary Levi, “Chuck”) and Joanne (Judith Shekoni, “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2”), who are seeking to avenge a tragic loss.
Noah Bennet, a.k.a. H.R.G. (Jack Coleman, “Heroes”), has gone off the grid but conspiracy theorist Quentin Frady (Henry Zebrowski, “A to Z”) finds him and opens his eyes to the truth behind the Odessa tragedy.
While in hiding, some are discovering their newfound skills. Awkward teen Tommy (Robbie Kay, “Once Upon a Time”) just wants to be normal and win the girl of his dreams, Emily (Gatlin Green, “Criminal Minds”), but normalcy is virtually impossible after learning of a new ability that terrifies him. Coming from a very sheltered upbringing, a bold and ethereal teenager, Malina (Danika Yarosh, “Shameless”), has been told she is destined for greatness. In Tokyo, a quiet and unique young woman, Miko (Kiki Sukezane, “Death Yankee 3”), is trying to track down her missing father while hiding an extraordinary secret that will make her a force to be reckoned with. Elsewhere, a different type of hero is emerging through former soldier Carlos (Ryan Guzman, “The Boy Next Door”).
Meanwhile, the head of the highly successful tech conglomerate, Renautas (Rya Kihlstedt, “Masters of Sex”), has an agenda of her own.
For better or for worse, some are fated to cross paths with assorted heroes of the past, including Hiro Nakamura (Masi Oka), Matt Parkman (Greg Grunberg), Mohinder Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) and the Haitian (Jimmy Jean-Louis), among others. Yet, together, their ultimate destiny is nothing less than saving the world and mankind.
Joining Kring are executive producers James Middleton (“Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles”) and Peter Elkoff (“Sons of Anarchy”). “Heroes Reborn” is produced by Imperative Entertainment, in association with Universal Television.
I love that I have the power to watch Heroes Reborn on my time.
We all have favorite TV shows. Between work, kids, extracurricular and evening routines of getting them to go to bed, I can never find the time to sit down and watch when the show airs. With TVEverywhere, audiences can watch their favorite NBC shows anytime and anywhere for free as part of their existing cable subscription. All they need to do is login with the same username and password they use to pay their bills online and they can access all the great content available on the NBC brand website.
Catching up on your favorite content and watching on your time has never been easier! Stream Heroes Reborn now!
Do you watch your favorite shows when they air or catch up when you can?
Have you watched TV from your desktop?
Watching shows anywhere on my computer? Now that sounds convenient!
Gotta love technology! I can’t wait to watch this show!
I love heroes reborn as I loved the original heroes. I knew this would be good and was so glad to see returning characters. Love curling up in my bed on my laptop when I miss an episode.
I loved the original series – planning to check this out!
Oh I was devastated when Heroes was cancelled (it did go a little of the rails towards the end but I still loved it) Super excited that heroes reborn has been created but am now devastated that it is just a 13 episode event and not a complete return… why have they done that?? :o( They always take my favourites off the air… like Flashforward!! Was addicted to that show… would watch it over and over again if I could.. .Would love that to be resurrected!! I have never watched TV on my computer but as my daughter gets older and life gets bussier I’m sure its the way we are heading!!
I really need to watch this show. I watched the old one all those years ago, so I haven’t yet given this one a chance for fear it won’t measure up to expectations that linger from the old one. I really need to though-I’m hearing pretty good things. It’s also super handy to be able to watch it anywhere-I only have on TV, but I use my laptop or my iPad mini to watch things in the bedroom or craft room.
I don’t watch too much of anything on my laptop, but my daughter does. This is how she gets around us not letting her have a TV in her room hahahaha. She has been binging on shows on Netflix all vacation long. She works so hard at school though, that I think it’s good to give her time to relax with a warm blanket, a cup of tea, and her favorite shows!
We just started watching the old heroes on netflix and we are almost done. We can’t start the new ones until we finish though because I am anal about following the story line or I will get lost lol
Honestly I do not watch a lot of tv. I really don’t have any favorites to keep up with. If I am trying to catch up on something I usually record it on the television and catch up when I can but I never thought of wacthing from my computer!
I’m glad that you take some time for yourself to relax and watch Heroes Reborn on the computer. I have watched entire series of television shows over the course of just a few days that are no longer on the air.
I have not ever thought to watch tv from my laptop but I am not quite sure WHY! Although we prefer to watch movies as a family, there are times I would love to catch up on “my” shows in the comfort of my own room, all snuggled up in the peace and quiet.
I love Heroes Reborn, and have been known to curl up in bed to watch if my TV was acting up. I do prefer the bigger screen, but it is nice to be able to watch anywhere!
Heroes Reborn! Wow! I didn’t know (until I read your post) that they brought back the series for a 13-episode season. How awesome is that! I felt that the first Heroes was good but was unfortunately victimized by the writer’s strike. So glad they brought it back. I want to see it now!
I remember when the first Heros came out! I had no idea that the second one is out like this. Love that you can watch this show with a tv like this, I hardly am ever watching my tv anymore.
I have watched shows on my desktop and laptop before. I actually do it a lot! I haven’t seen Heroes Reborn, but it’s on my list of shows to watch. There are a ton of shows I want to watch, but I never seen to be able to catch up. I know I need to take some time out of each day to watch at least one episode!
We have this one on our to-do list as soon as we get time. We loved the original and watched it religiously. Can’t wait to see how this one goes! Save the cheerleader..
I haven’t watched TV from my laptop. That would be a great idea. I do however always seems to be playing catch up with my shows.
I’ll have to give that a try. I don’t mind watching tv on my laptop.
