To celebrate the change in one of my favorite water bottles, Fiji Water and Momtrends invited us to Peloton Cycle to spin and enjoy artesian water from the Fiji Islands.

I have to tell you that I have never taken a spin class before.  But, I am on a mission to get back to healthy.  So, my goal was to complete the class and try my best!

    Honestly, I have not been living a very healthy lifestyle but I know that needs to change and now is the time. I am going to start an exercise routine and drink much more water instead of other beverages I have been. I have never tried Fiji Water but it sounds wonderful. The great taste will be a motivator.

    All I drink it water so this would help with my grocery bill enormously! I eat as organic as possible, no processed food or GMO’s and exercise daily.     I’m working on cutting out processed foods, eating a much healthier diet, doing zumba and dancercise and pilates and biking and drinking more water! This would definitely encourage me to drink more water!

    I have been using my stationary bike every night for several weeks and I feel so much better. I have more energy and my joints don’t hurt like they used to. Winning would keep me hydrated because I perspire so much during my workout.

    I try to eat well by not having trans fat and saturated fats foods. Bottled water is an everyday thing with me so thats what I drink every day and thats how it will help. I dont want ot need tap water, yuck.

    I think Fiji water tastes nice, and I like their thicker bottles. I would use Fiji water on my hikes to remind me to drink more water. Drinking water makes me feel healthier.

    Oh, wow! I had no idea Fiji changed their bottle or that they did delivery! It would make life so much easier to have these in the house. Right now we scramble to fill water bottles for the three of us each time we leave the house.

    We do little things to stay healthy and try to implement small changes. For example, we just started eating two veggies with dinner and we take a family walk every evening now.

    I love that it fits in your bike and your car – very cool. I’m really trying to drink more water. Can I confess that the pretty flower on the front of the bottle makes it far more fun than just plain water.

    Since having my 2 daughters, 17 months & 2 weeks, I have realized how important it is that I take care of myself. I want to be around for them a long time, plus especially with my toddler, I see how much she watches me & want her to learn healthy habits.

    Also, my husband is addicted to Fiji water. He goes to a gas station several mornings a week & picks up 2 bottles for $4, so having a supply at home would save us a lot of money & his time.

    I have a very hard time drinking enough water. I get dehydrated easily because of my IBD. Our tap water tastes awful, so I end up buying bottled water. My all time favorite bottled water is Fiji and if I had a large supply, I’d stay hydrated all the time!

    I eat really healthy. I do need to cut back on the coffee and I think having Fiji water around will make me choose the water over coffee.

    I am on a diet right now and losing weight, so I am drinking a lot of water which helps me to flush everything out and drop the weight.

Last night, we took the train into the city to preview #Macys #Santaland I have to say it was quite magical. Although my youngest was 12, Santa was able to connect to her and put us all in the holiday spirit.

My mom also came with us. We started talking and I think it was almost 40 years ago that she took us to visit Santa at Macys. I was so happy to visit Santa with her and my youngest for a three generation experience.

As a teacher and a mom of 3, I know how important it is to be there and be a good listener.

Conversations are super important. It’s never too early (or too late) to have these conversations with your students or your own children.

Operation Conversation is a check-in on kids’ mental health. When we start simple habits of conversations, we can learn about concerns or problems our students are dealing with, help them problem solve, and build their confidence for life’s difficult moments. 

Teachers can help to destigmatize mental health starting in their own classrooms by talking to their students about mental health using a free deck of conversation starter cards. Parents can also use these cards to support good conversations while at home. I know as a mom, I can use all the help I can get.
