Growing up reading my older brothers comics and sharing a collection with him was great preparation for the excitement that I would experience with every release from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Seeing characters from my childhood come to life on the big screen has been a great combination of nostalgia and surreality to say the least.
The latest offering “Avengers: Age of Ultron”, has been eagerly anticipated from the end credits of the first Avengers movie.
And it should be known that it Marvel has delivered in a big way.
Even though there is a lot packed into the film between new character introductions and delving deeper into more familiar characters’ back stories and troubles, you won’t mind the “I have to see that again” feeling. Oh and lest we forget all of the foreshadowing nods and seeds planted for the upcoming movies (Marvel calls these Phase Three). That is mostly due to the way Joss Whedon has woven an intricate a tapestry of conflict and humanism into the characters and plot lines.
The battle science are rich and powerful, (best viewed in IMAX 3-D), to say the least and they have some quick slices of humor that break the tension for the viewer.
Some comic purists do not like when their comic storylines get altered by Hollywood but I think most will overlook any small changes to the storyline a they are used to knowing and will enjoy the ride that is Avengers :Age of Ultron.

I’m so excited for this movie, we didn’t catch it opening weekend, it’s just so crowded and crazy over here but hope to watch in the coming weeks.
I hope to watch this movie sometime soon. My children will enjoy it as well.
