My 6-year-old son and 2-year-old daughter
were star-struck when they met storm troopers and characters from the new show.
We attended the screening event for The Disney Channel’s new show, Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion. The pre-show event included photo ops with characters, face painting, yoda and princess leia crafts and an interactive demonstration from Mad Science NYC.
Mad Science NYC had a captive audience with interactive science demonstrations.
There were hot giveaway prized from Lucasfilm, like a light saber and a huge Star Wars Lego set, but even without winning, we left with some fun take homes like a drawstring book bag and poster.

The show was totally appropriate and super-fun for both my 6-year-op son and my 2-year-old daughter. Ever since the preview, my son has been asking to watch the series to see what happens next.
How fun this must have been. My grandchildren would have really enjoyed going to something like this. I wish we had event’s like this here.
