I love frozen yogurt! And so do my kids. Euro-Tart with a variety of fruit, granola and nuts with a splash of chocolate added makes my day.
A visit to 16 Handles puts a smile on all my kids faces.
It is very easy for the girls to be independent and follow the steps to make the froyo of their choice.
All handles are clearly labeled so that you know what is in each one.
There is a variety of toppings for all – fruit, candy, chocolate and sauces to make the frozen yogurt of your dreams.
It’s a little known fact that New York based 16 Handles has 2-3 dairy-free (vegan) flavors on tap everyday. From berry medley sorbet to pomegranate (above left) to fruit punch flavors, there is a big variety to sink your teeth into. This month the innovative fro yo lifestyle brand is thrilled to launch Yo Soy Vanilla. It’s an all vegan alternative to a classic flavor. The creamy flavor can be complimented with several vegan (and Kosher) toppings that 16 Handles offers.
All dairy-free/vegan flavors are clearly labeled above the handle to make it easy for customers. My favorite is not dairy-free or vegan , but Euro Tart and is fat free.
CEO Solomon Choi says: “We developed Yo Soy Vanilla as a response to our customers who wanted to enjoy a non dairy flavor that wasn’t a fruit flavor. Vanilla is our best selling flavor so now we’re offering our best to our vegan friendly handlers. 16 Handles is frozen yogurt your way!”
There are dozens of locations in the tri-state area for customers to visit. Find a location near you.
fro yoo yo yo yo yo though
I didn’t know this. I am dairy sensitive, so when I eat out of the house I try to eat either cooked dairy (like melted cheese) or keep it dairy free. It means that I usually can’t enjoy frozen yogurt or ice cream out of the house.
I’m so glad this helped you! Enjoy!
