Travel Essentials That Are Better For You

Disclosure Samples

Heading out of town this summer?  Whether a short trip or a long journey, Raising 3 Savvy Ladies found some new and improved Travel Essentials to take along with you for your vacation.

a Travel Essentials Ricardo Beverly Hills

The Ricardo Beverly Hills Sausalito Superlight 16″  Wheeled Tote in Rhythm and Blue Paisley will have you traveling in style.  I love the design with many pockets.  This piece of luggage is a great way to carry all your travel needs.  It also has a space for your laptop.  Don’t let this pretty design fool you.  This is an extremely durable yet gorgeous case that packs a lot, weighs next to nothing, and moves effortlessly from car to counter to gate. The multi-level locking handle system is designed with a comfortable grip to minimize hand fatigue.  I also loved the versatility of this tote.

Here are some of the travel essentials that I took on vacation with me.  They fit perfectly in my Ricardo Beverly Hills Tote.

A Travel Essentials Ouidad Botanical Bookst Sea Spray

I have been using Ouidad products since my early 20s.  Botanical Boost spray is great after being in the pool or ocean.  It helps add moisture, fight frizz and makes it easier to brush your tresses.  A new favorite is the Ouidad Wave Create Sea Spray for that tousled look.  Two great products to keep your hair looking great by the water.

a Travel Essentials Coconut Milk Hair

If you want to feel like you are on a tropical island, then OGX products are for you. Nourishing Coconut Milk Shampoo and Conditioner add hydration and the sweet smell of coconut to your hair.  The 3 oz size is perfect to take in your carry on luggage.

a Sneaks Organic Veggie Nutrition

Pack a nice ice cold milkshake from Sneakz that secretly has a full serving of veggies in every box.  My youngest really enjoyed them.  Sneakz combines great taste with deliciously disguised vegetable nutrition, using a simple blend of organic whole foods, including milk, sweet potatoes, carrots, beets, and spinach, in a yummy and creamy chocolate shake.  Check the Sneakz website to find out where you can purchase them.

A Travel Essentials

Never forget your sunscreen! Block Island Organics sunscreens are non-toxic mineral based (zinc and titanium), as opposed to chemical based, and include a Baby SPF 30 (this product is zinc only), an SPF 15, SPF 30 and SPF 40 product.  Our products are non-comedogenic, vegan formulated, paraben free, phthalate free, nano particle free, artificial fragrance free, non-eye irritating, not tested on animals, made in the USA and highly rated by the Environmental Working Group.

This is one of the few zinc sunscreens that is able to be rubbed in and not keep the skin white.

a Block Island Organics

a Travel Essentials Organic Feminie Products

And, last but not least is Natracare Organic and Natural Feminine products.  When on vacation, you always want to be fresh and prepared .

Did you know that brands do not have to disclose what is in feminine products?  Natracare wants to build awareness with women about the disclosure of ingredients in our feminine hygiene products.   It is important for me to know especially since I have three savvy ladies who will be growing up.

a Travel Essentials NatraCAre Intimate Wipes

These wipes are perfect to throw in your travel bag so that you can feel your best at all times.

As you can see,  the Ricardo Beverly Hills bag held a lot of great products as well as all my tech things.

Do you use any of these products?  Which is your favorite?

Or. which would you like to try?

So happy to kick off the holiday season with @macy So happy to kick off the holiday season with @macys and Santa! Last night, we took the train into the city to preview #Macys #Santaland I have to say it was quite magical. Although my youngest was 12, Santa was able to connect to her and put us all in the holiday spirit.

I believe. I believe….

My mom also came with us. We started talking and I think it was almost 40 years ago that she took us to visit Santa at Macys. I was so happy to visit Santa with her and my youngest for a three generation experience.

Don’t forget to check out the beautiful window displays as you enjoy all of #NYC during the holidays!

#ad Mental health isn’t talked about enough, but #ad Mental health isn’t talked about enough, but 1 in 5 adults suffer from mental illness and disorders today.

Let’s reduce the stigma by opening up the conversation in the classroom and at home.
As a teacher and a mom of 3, I know how important it is to be there and be a good listener.

Conversations are super important. It’s never too early (or too late) to have these conversations with your students or your own children.

Operation Conversation is a check-in on kids’ mental health. When we start simple habits of conversations, we can learn about concerns or problems our students are dealing with, help them problem solve, and build their confidence for life’s difficult moments.

Teachers can help to destigmatize mental health starting in their own classrooms by talking to their students about mental health using a free deck of conversation starter cards. Parents can also use these cards to support good conversations while at home. I know as a mom, I can use all the help I can get.

#Giveaway Alert!
I have 5 decks of Conversation Starter Decks of cards to give away to 5 lucky winners to help you get the conversation flowing!

To enter:
1. Comment on this post as to why you would love the conversation starter deck of cards.

New York state has so many wonderful places to be New York state has so many wonderful places to be a part of . From the bright lights of NYC, to quiet places of respite in its parks and wooded areas. Time to walk, hike and reflect. Being active and busy is something that I hope my teens learn from and something we can do together to enjoy all the beauty and nature it has to offer while keeping NY tobacco free. Did you know that our oldest generation of smokers are now dying? After them, you have me and a very large group of people who do not smoke at all. So, who’s next? Instead of taking cigarettes off the shelves, the tobacco industry views today’s teens as tomorrow’s customers, using menthol-flavored products to attract and addict kids – and it’s working. More than half (54%) of youth who smoke (ages 12-17 years) use menthol cigarettes. making it easier for kids to start and harder for them to quit. Menthol is not JUST a flavor, it attracts and addicts kids As a teen mom, I am sharing this so we can all take action! Learn more about the impact of Big Tobacco’s manipulative tactics on our communities and how you can take action to help end this injustice. Let’s keep our kids enjoying the wonderful things our state has to offer. Link in bio #NotJustMenthol #TobaccoFreeNYS #ad @tobaccofreenys
