Core Power Official Protein Drink of Sochi Olympics #Giveaway #Fitfluential

I received product from Core Power.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.
It’s February! Enough snow.  Time to get focused and gt back into the groove of a healthier lifestyle.  Core Power sent me the tools I needed to try out new exercises while enjoying their Core Power drink too.  I really like the chocolate drink.  And, totally love that it was a smooth drink with no chalky aftertaste.

Today, more people are looking to get more protein in their diets, and Core Power delivers. “Nutrition experts agree that milk is one of the best sources of protein, as good for elite athletes as it is for active lifestyles. Our products contain the natural whey and casein proteins from milk, never removed from their original liquid state.

Protein consumption after exercise and training is an important part of every athlete’s workout regimen. Protein helps to build lean muscle and recharges the body when consumed directly after physical activity. In line with the brand’s youthful character and enthusiastic field marketing based approach to building brand awareness, Core Power® has aligned with four top Sochi 2014 Team USA hopefuls, who will be featured on limited edition Core Power® bottles and appear across the brand’s point of sale and social / digital media platforms, to promote the great tasting high protein drink.

Milk is one of the best sources of protein, helping to build lean muscle and recharge the body when consumed directly after physical activity. Core Power is the real-milk based sports recovery drink and contains natural whey and casein proteins found in milk – never removed from their original liquid state. The brand features simple ingredients and great taste, without a chalky texture. You can also check out the website for recipes!

I would love to try Core Power because I am bad about taking care of myself and eating right. I also have a grown son who would love these-he is an over the road truck driver who seldom has time for the nutrition he needs. Finally, I have a 21 yr old daughter who is very physically active but is a BAD vegetarian 🙂 Thanks for the very nice and extremely useful giveaway 🙂

Over the past few years I’ve gained a lot of weight and I’m not happy about. While I’ve leaned that my identity isn’t merely a number on a scale, I also know that my body frame isn’t meant to carry this much weight. I’m suppose to be a much smaller person! I looking for a way to lose weight that is both easy and affective. I know that I didn’t gain weight overnight, so I shouldn’t expect to lose it that fast either. I just want an opportunity to be healthy again that doesn’t require a gym membership or me running 5 miles a day. I want to lose weight from the comfort of my home. Thanks, fingers crossed, I hope that I win.

This sounds like a great recovery drink after a long run. (Currently training for a 15K and, if you promise not to tell, I’m actually considering a 1/2 marathon. Yipe!)

So happy to kick off the holiday season with @macy So happy to kick off the holiday season with @macys and Santa! Last night, we took the train into the city to preview #Macys #Santaland I have to say it was quite magical. Although my youngest was 12, Santa was able to connect to her and put us all in the holiday spirit.

I believe. I believe….

My mom also came with us. We started talking and I think it was almost 40 years ago that she took us to visit Santa at Macys. I was so happy to visit Santa with her and my youngest for a three generation experience.

Don’t forget to check out the beautiful window displays as you enjoy all of #NYC during the holidays!

#ad Mental health isn’t talked about enough, but #ad Mental health isn’t talked about enough, but 1 in 5 adults suffer from mental illness and disorders today.

Let’s reduce the stigma by opening up the conversation in the classroom and at home.
As a teacher and a mom of 3, I know how important it is to be there and be a good listener.

Conversations are super important. It’s never too early (or too late) to have these conversations with your students or your own children.

Operation Conversation is a check-in on kids’ mental health. When we start simple habits of conversations, we can learn about concerns or problems our students are dealing with, help them problem solve, and build their confidence for life’s difficult moments.

Teachers can help to destigmatize mental health starting in their own classrooms by talking to their students about mental health using a free deck of conversation starter cards. Parents can also use these cards to support good conversations while at home. I know as a mom, I can use all the help I can get.

#Giveaway Alert!
I have 5 decks of Conversation Starter Decks of cards to give away to 5 lucky winners to help you get the conversation flowing!

To enter:
1. Comment on this post as to why you would love the conversation starter deck of cards.
 2. Follow @OnOurSleevesOfficial
3. Follow me @SavvyMomNY I will pick the winners after 10pm on 11/22

Totally bittersweet and we went to visit Binghamton in October 2019 and only made it to two more before March 2020. I’m only thinking of bright skies ahead for the both of them filled with amazing memories and wonderful opportunities 💚

New York state has so many wonderful places to be New York state has so many wonderful places to be a part of . From the bright lights of NYC, to quiet places of respite in its parks and wooded areas. Time to walk, hike and reflect. Being active and busy is something that I hope my teens learn from and something we can do together to enjoy all the beauty and nature it has to offer while keeping NY tobacco free. Did you know that our oldest generation of smokers are now dying? After them, you have me and a very large group of people who do not smoke at all. So, who’s next? Instead of taking cigarettes off the shelves, the tobacco industry views today’s teens as tomorrow’s customers, using menthol-flavored products to attract and addict kids – and it’s working. More than half (54%) of youth who smoke (ages 12-17 years) use menthol cigarettes. making it easier for kids to start and harder for them to quit. Menthol is not JUST a flavor, it attracts and addicts kids As a teen mom, I am sharing this so we can all take action! Learn more about the impact of Big Tobacco’s manipulative tactics on our communities and how you can take action to help end this injustice. Let’s keep our kids enjoying the wonderful things our state has to offer. Link in bio #NotJustMenthol #TobaccoFreeNYS #ad @tobaccofreenys
