Thank you to Lauren for attending the event on behalf of Raising 3 Savvy Ladies.
If you are in NYC this holiday season and want to see that latest offerings from Google, you must stop by Bryant Park for Google’s Winter Wonderlab.
I was able to check this out prior to its opening to the public and get some hands on advice about the Nexus Tablet 7 and Google’s Nexus 5 phone. And when I say hands on I mean it. Visitors are allowed to test drive the latest apps and see what these gadgets have to offer. There are several stations set up so if you are interested in Music, Movies, Games you can head to the correct destination.
When you first arrive, make sure you get a SNOWPASS card for your check in time to make a holiday video in the giant snow globe that is set up inside the pop up store. You are able to create a slow motion video with the enhancements of fake snow, do it by yourself or with a group of friends and take a break from the holiday hustle and bustle.
The Nexus 7 Tablet is the most compact tablet on the market for about $229; skip buying that extra pair of boots this holiday season and give yourself an upgrade with technology. You can do pretty much anything on this tablet. It is great for traveling and keeping you connected on the go. I love how lightweight it is so you don’t have to worry about carry a big bulky laptop or another tablet ever again. The images are crystal clear which makes it perfect for watching movies and playing games.
If you love music and don’t want to keep downloading album after album Google play offers a monthly subscribtion package for about $10 a month allowing you download as much music as you would like. One month is lessthan a CD so a great saving all together.
The new 7″ tablet from Google
The Nexus 5 Smartphone has just been released on the market and is the next big thing. This device is powered by Android 4.4 KitKat. This smartphone is super slim, light and fast and will be on everyone’s’ wish list this holiday season. If you are thinking about switching devices here are a few reasons to do it. It has a 5″ display screen, ifyou like carrying only your phone for picture-taking the Nexus 5 captures more light for brighter photos and the new HDR+ mode snaps several pics in a row giving you the best shot each time. It comes pre-loaded with your go to apps like Search, Chrome, Maps, YouTube, Gmail, Drive & Hangouts.

What a fun event! Too bad it’s 2,000 miles from me. Don’t think I’ll get there.
Seems like a fun and interactive event. I wish they had an event like that closer to where I live.
I will like to be able to go but I can’t. I like the new 7′ inc tablet from Google.
Have to share this with my boys, they’ll love this
Very cool, I only wish a Winter Wonderlab would pop up in our area. I’d love to check it out!
Oh wow, this looks neat. They need to have one of those here in WA!
