I attended the Cabbage Patch Kids Birthday Celebration with two of my savvy ladies where they were able to adopt their very own CPK.
Happy 30th Birthday Cabbage Patch Kids! I am so happy that my girl love Cabbage Patch Kids. When I was in the second grade, I remember my mother waiting on line at Consumers hoping that there might be a delivery of Cabbage Patch Kids that day. Lucky me, she finally got one. And, I still have her!
My daughters were very happy when they saw that they were going to adopt their very own doll.
Then, they took the Adoption Oath to make their Cabbage Patch Kid part of the family.
It was a very festive party. All party guests sang Happy Birthday to the special guest of honor. Colorful cupcakes were handed out to all.
The girls were so ready to bring their adopted Cabbage Patch Kids babies home to love and take care of.
This holiday season would be a great time to give a special little someone in your life their very own Cabbage Patch Kid.
Cabbage Patch Celebration Kids retail for $34.99 and they have brightly colored hair and party themed fashions.
Cabbage Patch Kids Babies retail for $24.99 have my favorite baby powder scent and they come with either a disappearing milk bottle or food bowl with spoon.
I LOVE me some Cabbage Patch Kids! I still have 4 of my old ones from when I was a little girl – SO excited that they’ve brought them back again so my little girl can have new ones too 🙂
Wow they’re 30! I remember when they first came out. I had to have one. Or two or three.
I love Cabbage Patch Kids, I remember my sisters and I having them growing up and it is nice to see that I can share the same memories with my own children.
I loved cabbage patch kids when I was little! I had a few of them and loved them!
I love CPK!!! I have so many of them from when I was a kid. I even have the pets, the Koosas.
Your girls are adorable! I remember when that craze first hit, I am that old!

Seeing that the Cabbage Patch Kids are turning 30 makes me feel VERY old! I had a few different CPKs when I was little, and hoping to introduce them to my own daughter for her birthday in a few months 🙂
My mother, her sister and two of their cousins went on a vacation a few years ago and while away they went to a Cabbage Patch Doll Museum somewhere in Georgia. They turned into little girls when they walked through the doorway. All the pictures they took! The time they had! My cousin bought herself a new dollbaby (or two). Cabbage Patch dolls still wield their magic on all generations.
These were my favorite toy. Looks like you had a lot of fun there.
Some if my best childhood memories are with Elliott (my CPK)
Happy 30th Birthday! I remember the first year you came out and fighting to get my daughters a doll and was so difficult to do. All the kids wanted a doll and they sold out quick
I cants believe 30 years have passed. I still have my two dolls and are now loved by my daughter. These dolls truly are timeless classics.
Happy 30th Cabbage Patch Kids! I Have Great Memories Growing Up With Cabbage Patch Kids!
Love Cabbage Patch Kids. I remember the trouble my Mom and Aunt went through to get my sisters and I one.
Awesome! The cupcakes look very yummy. I never had a cabbage doll but I would like to get one for my daughter!
Happy 30th.. my mom wouldn’t let me have any cabbage patch kids
Happy 30th Birthday. My gosh I can remember my mom going to the store and almost getting in a fight to get one of these dolls for my daughter and now my daughter is 30 something.
Happy Birthday! 🙂 I remember when they first came out, my little brother wanted a boy one for Christmas! Oh my mom ran me all over town with her trying to find him one. We finally did! So glad they are still around and still so strong!
I was 4 when Cabbage Patch Kids first entered the market. My sister and I were so excited when we got our first Kids! Happy 30th!
Oh WOW this is so nice and the girls are fabulous doing their promise to take care of the dolls 🙂
I remember when I was little and got a Cabbage Patch Kid. I opened the adoption certificate and when I seen it I knew that having this doll was a serious responsibility. I think it cool that my girls are experiencing the same thing. I can’t believe it’s been 30 years!
I had a boy cabbage patch doll when I was young and used to take his glasses off and wear them lol
