Thanks to Megan who attended Disney on Ice on behalf of Raising Three Savvy Ladies. I was given tickets for the purpose of review. All thoughts and opinions are her own.
As much as we would love to, we can’t afford a trip to Disney World every year. So, what’s the next best thing? Definitely, Disney on Ice! We just took our 5-year-old and 21-month-old to “Disney on Ice: Let’s Celebrate” at the Nassau Colosseum and had a blast.
This show is as fantastic as the shows you see in the parks, with all the favorite characters, except they’re on ice skates. I still can’t figure out how they skate so beautifully in those bulky costumes!
Both of my kids absolutely loved the show and watched it all with their eyes peeled, despite being awake past their bedtime. There were lots of characters, so everyone was bound to recognize some favorites. To follow the theme of celebrations, musical numbers included a Very Merry Unbirthday Party, a Royal Ball with the princesses and princes, a Halloween number with the villains, a Brazilian carnival, a Hawaiian luau with Lilo and Stich, and a Christmas celebration with the whole cast. Even the Toy Story gang makes an appearance on the ice.
Check out Disney on Ice…it’s the perfect way to kick off the holiday season!
My kids would love this show! These tickets will be great gifts for my nephews as well.
How cute! I can’t wait to take my daughter to something like this when she gets older 🙂
We saw Disney on Ice twice….many years ago. Would love to see this year’s show. Looks like a lot of fun.
