I am a Fox Home Entertainment Insider. My writer, @NYCLaurenBeth attended the event on behalf of Raising 3 Savvy Ladies.
Have you ever missed out on seeing a Broadway show? Well, if you weren’t able to make it NYC to see The Tony Award winning Broadway musical Shrek The Musical you can now own it on DVD/ Blu-Ray.
It is amazing how this once animated movie has been brought to life on stage with an sensational cast of performers. Watching this at home gives you the best seat in the house where you can relive every scene over and over. This production was directed by Michael Warren and filmed during live performances using 10 cameras. Even if you had “the best seat in the theater” you wound’t be able to capture every moment like they were able to.
I felt honored to attend the launch event for Shrek The Musical and seeing the cast including Sutton Foster (Fiona), Christopher Sieber (Lord Farquaad), John Tartaglia (Pinocchio), Daniel Breaker (Donkey), Marissa O’Donnell (Teen Fiona), Leah Greenhaus (Young Fiona, Flower Girl) and many others!

It was such a great treat to see many of the actors perform musical numbers from the show in such an intimate setting. With the release of Shrek The Musical you can own a little bit of the magic of Broadway at home and even get to see some behind the scenes footage from Swamp to Stage: the Making of Shrek The Musical and even sing along to some of your favorite musical numbers.
