Looking for some interesting Halloween fun in NYC this week for Halloween?
How cool would a visit to the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum be?
Mad science experiments, a Monster Mash dance party, free movie screenings and more spooky family fun will take place at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, located at Pier 86 (46th Street and 12th Avenue) in Manhattan, on Wednesday, October 30th from 3:00PM – 8:00PM.
Guests are invited to dress in their Halloween best and join a frighteningly fun day of activities, including Halloween-themed arts and crafts, superhero-themed tours of the ship (bring your own flashlight!), trick-or-treating, face painting and a Monster Mash dance party zone. Intrepid Museum educators will perform demonstrations that explain mysteries of science and create homemade mad science silly putty, while museum tour guides will be on hand to unlock the history of age-old naval superstitions and the bizarre true story of the USS William D. Porter, the unluckiest ship in the Fleet.
Back-to-back screenings of the family-friendly Halloween hit Hocus Pocus will take place at 4:00PM and 6:00PM. Seating for each screening is limited to the first 250 guests and wristbands are required for entry. To receive a wristband, please visit the Information Desk upon arrival.
All “Halloween on the Hudson” activities are free with admission to the museum. Family-friendly costumes are highly encouraged.
