Telling my girls that we would be meeting One Direction after seeing an advanced screening of One Direction: This is Us was an awesome moment. They were so happy to see the movie that this was justgoing to be over the top!
What I enjoyed most about our interview was finding out that the boys are just regular guys. They were very nice and real. After seeing the movie and meeting them in person, I felt like I knew them.
Here is a snippet of our chat with Niall and Harry discussing time off.
By listening to the boys speak to us and to each other, you can feel the brotherhood and respect they have for each other and their fans.
Morgan Spurlock shared what it was like creating the One Direction: This is Us documentary:
They have a Massive Fan base already supportive of project from beginning which is incredible.
What I love about these guys is that it is a great story that they have. They are these five ordinary guys who went to audition for a talent show three years ago and never came home and became one of the biggest bands in the world. That’s remarkable.
The film – It is an incredibly intimate portrait. I feel like you get closer to them in this film than you do in any of the concert films. You get a real sense of who they are.
I definitely agree with Morgan. As someone who was not familiar with the band’s beginnings, I felt that the documentary took me through the band’s beginnings and left me feeling like I just attended a 1D concert.
Being able to interview One Direction was definitely The Best Day Ever!
Have you seen the movie? Will you be going?
Oh now that is way cool! My boys would be super jealous! They just discovered 1D and they think they are awesome. lol.
Oh my goodness, how cool is that?!
That is so awesome and something your girls will always cherish.
That is SO exciting! I love being able to share exciting blog adventures with my kids. 🙂
Cool, this looks like so much fun. 😉
