I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for OxiClean. I received a product sample to facilitate my review and promotional item as a thank you for participating.
The shirts above sat in a luggage full of laundry for about three days. Fun vacation times equals chocolate ice cream and with a three year old, that can be pretty messy. Not just one, but two shirts fell victim to the chocolate dribble! And, of course this was earlier in the day, and I didn’t have anything in my bag to clean it. When we returned to the hotel, the shirt was thrown into the laundry bag and not thought of again until the day we returned home.
I have used OxiClean Versatile Stain Remover many times before but I didn’t know how it would work days later after the stain. It is my go to stain remover for after sports, classroom message and food spills. But after sitting during vacation, I didn’t know how it would work.
With about five loads of vacation laundry to do, I decided to use the OxiClean Versative Stain Remover and make a paste by adding water to the OxiClean and rubbing it into the stain. OxiClean is free of bleach so I didn’t have to worry about a bleach stain.
Then, I let it sit until it was time to do the last load of laundry. In went the shirts and OUT went the stains. Phew! What a relief. OxiClean Versatile Stain Remover came to the rescue and saved this mother of three and yes, became my Vacation Hero!
When the shirts came out of the laundry, I was happy to see the chocolate had disappeared. The shirts were not ruined and she would be able to wear for the start of school this September.
In addition to these two shirts, all of the vacation laundry was given a boost for the fall. After a vacation, the clothes sit longer than usual in luggage and have that not-so-clean look.
Thanks to OxiClean Versatile Stain Remover, we had a solution for removing these tough stains. The shirts are now ready for for the start of the school year!
OxiClean is all I use to fight stains. As a mom of two boys, we have lots of stains!
We love OxiClean, especially with a crazy toddler that has a talent of making messes! 🙂
What I love about OxiClean is that not only can you use it in your wash, you can also make a paste out of it for extra deep stain fighting! Simply mix it with water to the consistency you want, apply to the stain and let sit for a bit, then launder as normal!
I love OxiClean. It works for almost everything!
I like having a safer alternative to bleach. I have used it to get out tough stains from everything even car seats !
That’s amazing! Will definitely have to try it, thanks.
I always use OxiClean to fight stains
Wow – what a difference OxiClean can make. I saw this at the grocery store and I’m going to have to add it to my shopping list for tomorrow.
Wow! What great results. I will have to give it a try.
Nice! I havent used oxiclean, I usually just put my pretreater on or hand soap if im on vaca
i just had that same thing – the first time i used another “spray” stain remover which didn’t work. then i remembered the oxi clean and put it in with the second load. green shirt is no longer brown and yellow!
I love OXY clean… We buy it at BJ’s and I just soak the heck out of nearly everything to get stains out. It turned my antique tea colored 40 year old christening gown back to sparkling white!!!
