Best Wireless Plan Found at Walmart Family Mobile

G+-disclosure-slide-gray

My oldest is now of an age where having a phone can help for safety and playdates or get togethers. And then, there are her friends texting and Instagraming and I want to be able to monitor it and not make her feel out of the loop.  Spending more money of cell phone service is not something I want to be doing right about now so I started to explore different options that are available out there.  I wanted the best wireless that was also a cheap wireless plan or should I say one that wouldn’t break the bank.

Shopping for Walmart Family Mobile Plan for Lowest Price Rate Plan

My current cell phone service is through AT & T and we are currently in a contract.  I didn’t want to start a contract for my daughter but I wanted to see what an affordable new cell phone service would be able to offer.  I didn’t want to put her on my plan until I had gone to Walmart and became savvy on the savings and what exactly it had to offer.

To tell you the truth, I am paying a lot right now.  When I went on the Walmart website and saw that a Family of 3 would be $110. Wow! That would be a great deal of savings from what I pay now for only two phones! That is truly a #FamilyMobileSaves moment!

Walmart Family Mobile Plan

So, my youngest and I headed to Walmart to find out all about the Family Mobile Plan.  With our busy schedules just getting busier, I wanted to make it easier to stay connected. My oldest is involved in many sports and now my other two are needing to be driven places too.  How can I feel safe and figure out who needs to be picked up and when?  By getting my oldest a phone, she is able to stay in touch if practice ends early or if there is a change in plans.

Our schedules are just getting hectic.  The busier my girls get, the more it seems that the activities get more expensive too.  This is one of the reasons I wanted to try the Walmart Family Mobile Plan;  I am always looking for savings to help cut costs everywhere. And, when I found out that it is only $40 for Unlimited Talk, Text and Web, I was all smiles.

We haven’t told her yet so stay tuned for her reaction.

To start setting the plan in motion, I headed to Walmart to purchase the Walmart Family Mobile Starter Kit.  It was found in the Electronics Department. While in Walmart, my youngest and I shopped for some fun snacks and things we needed for home. The associate told me that after purchasing the Starter Kit, I could take it home and activate the plan in the comfort of my home.

To keep track of my plan, I just need to go to Online account management:  https://www.myfamilymobile.com/.

Activating the service was easy and now I have a phone for my oldest.

Keeping connected as a family is important to me and as my girls grow up, I am glad I am able to find affordable options to keep us all connected and safe.

That’s a fantastic savings. All I would have to know is how the service actually is before I’d jump!

When our contract is up we are thinking of switching to Walmart Family Mobile. My husband is an employee so we would also get an employee discount on the plan. It would save us a lot of money over our current plan.

I remember when my daughter was ready for her first phone – so many activities and visits with friends, groups and projects after school! Was so much easier to feel connected and reassured that we could connect for check-ins. Of course, the simple model that worked back then is not the same phone she has now! With two kids in the family on smart phones – I am loving that low price from Walmart Family Mobile! Looking forward to reading more about your experience 🙂

So happy to kick off the holiday season with @macy So happy to kick off the holiday season with @macys and Santa! Last night, we took the train into the city to preview #Macys #Santaland I have to say it was quite magical. Although my youngest was 12, Santa was able to connect to her and put us all in the holiday spirit.

I believe. I believe….

My mom also came with us. We started talking and I think it was almost 40 years ago that she took us to visit Santa at Macys. I was so happy to visit Santa with her and my youngest for a three generation experience.

Don’t forget to check out the beautiful window displays as you enjoy all of #NYC during the holidays!

#ad Mental health isn’t talked about enough, but #ad Mental health isn’t talked about enough, but 1 in 5 adults suffer from mental illness and disorders today.

Let’s reduce the stigma by opening up the conversation in the classroom and at home.
As a teacher and a mom of 3, I know how important it is to be there and be a good listener.

Conversations are super important. It’s never too early (or too late) to have these conversations with your students or your own children.

Operation Conversation is a check-in on kids’ mental health. When we start simple habits of conversations, we can learn about concerns or problems our students are dealing with, help them problem solve, and build their confidence for life’s difficult moments.

Teachers can help to destigmatize mental health starting in their own classrooms by talking to their students about mental health using a free deck of conversation starter cards. Parents can also use these cards to support good conversations while at home. I know as a mom, I can use all the help I can get.

#Giveaway Alert!
I have 5 decks of Conversation Starter Decks of cards to give away to 5 lucky winners to help you get the conversation flowing!

New York state has so many wonderful places to be New York state has so many wonderful places to be a part of . From the bright lights of NYC, to quiet places of respite in its parks and wooded areas. Time to walk, hike and reflect. Being active and busy is something that I hope my teens learn from and something we can do together to enjoy all the beauty and nature it has to offer while keeping NY tobacco free. Did you know that our oldest generation of smokers are now dying? After them, you have me and a very large group of people who do not smoke at all. So, who’s next? Instead of taking cigarettes off the shelves, the tobacco industry views today’s teens as tomorrow’s customers, using menthol-flavored products to attract and addict kids – and it’s working. More than half (54%) of youth who smoke (ages 12-17 years) use menthol cigarettes. making it easier for kids to start and harder for them to quit. Menthol is not JUST a flavor, it attracts and addicts kids As a teen mom, I am sharing this so we can all take action! Learn more about the impact of Big Tobacco’s manipulative tactics on our communities and how you can take action to help end this injustice.
