Last week I attended the 4th annual Mommybites Summit Held in the Grand Ballroom at the New Yorker Hotel. Just like last year, the room was filled with moms enjoying a fun night out and mingling with brands and shopping too.
Two brands that I met at the Summit were zCush and Ella’s Kitchen.
When I met the creators of zCush, I was intrigued by how the product came to be. I loved learning how, in India, families never allowed infants to be held without the mat. I had just been to a party over the weekend and a newborn was being passed around to adults of all ages and children. I thought to myself that this product would have been a great one to have to avoid any worries of too many touching the baby. You can safely pass the baby around with the support a newborn needs. There is also a zipper on the side so that you can also use as a changing mat.
Another company that I enjoyed learning more about was Ella’s Kitchen. My three year old is a big fan of Ella’s Kitchen. Her favorites are The Red One and The Green One Smoothie Fruits.
I learned that the packaging is colorful to appeal to a baby or toddler who is making choices. All organic ingredients are used to great theses tasty treats. There is no water added either.
One trick that I learned is to put the smoothie in the freezer so that when lunchtime comes, your little one will have a nice cold treat. My youngest loves the flavors and I’m sure that this cool treat will be a surprise in the lunchbox.
Reasons why moms love serving Ella’s Kitchen:
- We don’t add extra salt or sugars
- We don’t use additives, or bulk up products with added water
- We only use organic ingredients. We don’t use Genetically Modified (GM) ingredients
- We use fruit and vegetable purees, avoiding concentrates
I have a few smoothies in the freezer right now to test it out. (I think I might try one too!)

Oh what wonderful products! I will have to check them both out! Thanks!
I’ve heard of Ella’s Kitchen but the other is new to me. I’m intrigued with both though.
Love ella’s for organic on the go feedings, great to freeze them for teething!
Sounds like an excellent event filled with all the things mama and baby need!
