Cinderella On Broadway

For the first time ever Cinderella has made it’s debut on Broadway.   Every little girl has heard the story at least once it her lifetime hoping to have a fairy godmother make her dreams come true.

I was mesmerized by the costume changes that took place on stage  right before your eyes.  Kudos to costume designer William Ivey Long .

My 9 year old and 6 year old really enjoyed it.  I would recommend letting them know that this is a different version than Disney.  It was a little long for my youngest.  I would recommend at least 6 and up to fully enjoy the performance.

I have always loved the music of Rodgers & Hammerstein.  It  has an uplifting tune that makes you want to dance along with the cast.

  2. I think at least 6. We went to an 8 pm show and it was hard for the younger crowd. Maybe if you are going earlier, it would be a different experience.

  5. It was beautiful and everything a fairy tale should be- thought it was a bit long though. Still enjoyed the entire show…I agree, I think it’s not for younger children…most only could relate to Disney so they were confused…
    I liked it for all its oringinal charm….

  13. My granddaughter loves Cindirella, it is one of her favorite movies. I have to take her to see this, she will be amazed.
