Poptropica is a game that I was not familiar with. But, as my 9 year old explained, there is an entire website for Poptropica to play and interact with others. Now, on Nintendo DS, it was our time to join the adventure.
Here are her thoughts on Poptropica Adventures:
Poptropia Adventures is about rebuilding the museum and finding artifacts to put inside. I like the game. It took me some time to figure it out. But, as I read the hints that come up, I had a better understanding. I wish I could click on the map to help me get to another place.
I also love how you can customize your character at the beginning and during the game.
Finding different items for the museum can be a challenge at first. Sometimes different people do not describe what they have, but as I played it became much easier.
I’m working right now on placing the different items I get.
I liked the fact that it is rated E for Everyone. So many games offer violence and other things that I really don’t want her exposed to right now.
This game is fun and enjoyable. I am not a savvy mom when it comes to playing games but when she showed me what she was doing, the fashionista in me enjoyed spending time customizing clothes, hairstyles and even hats. I spent some time doing that while she was on a mission to figure out the game.
Here are the details from the Ubisoft website:
