Flatout Flatbread Whole Grain with Flax
2 slices of BoarsHead Low Sodium Turkey
1 slice 2% milk American cheese
2 strips of turkey bacon
1 Romaine lettuce leaf
4 grape tomatoes
2 slices cucumber 4 thin slices of avocado
For my hot sandwich, I thought a Flatout Chicken Quesadilla sounded delsih.
1 Flatout® Whole Grain with Flaxseed Flatbread
1/2 cup pulled roasted chicken
1/4 cup diced mixed peppers
1 Tbs diced red and green onions
1/4 tsp Fajita seasoning
1/4 cup light cheddar and mozzarella 2% cheese, shredded
2 slices cooked lower sodium turkey bacon
1 oz fat free ranch dressing
Once all ingredients were assembled, I put in my Hamilton Beach Toaster Oven for 2 – 3 minutes on each side on medium heat.
Both of the recipes made me full and I didn’t not feel like I was skimping out for the purpose of dieting. Adding lots of veggies created the volume without lots of extra calories.
There are days where I run from one extracurricular to another after work. Being able to run to Walgreens to get some staples for a great healthy meal is what I need without the hassle of large supermarket shopping in the middle of the week.
I can’t wait to make again and this time have my girls help make their ow sandwiches!
How are you managing to choose healthy options while on the go?
The sandwich looks delicious!!!
I LOVE the Flatout breads! I didn’t know that they paired with Hungry Girl… who is pretty amazing! I’ve been getting her newsletter for years.
Wow, the sandwich and the quesadillas are making my mouth water
now my tummy is rumbling….those sandwiches look delicious!
Both of those look awesome! I love flatout.
omg, that looks super delicious. Never thought of flatout as being so fabulous, but clearly it has great possibilities!
Oh, those chicken quesadillas looks delicious to me. I want to try those.
This recipe sounds delicious. I am always looking for healthy options for my family.
I try to stay away from quick, unhealthy meals while on the go….the chicken hot sandwich looks awesome!! Definitely going to have to check it out

I love Flatout – now I need to make it as a cheese Quesadilla!
Looks delicious! I can’t wait to try the Flatout flat bread
This looks wonderful! Thanks for the recipe idea!
MMMMMMM!!!!!
I need to lose weight and this is something I’d love to try.
Your sandwiches look and sound great. I’m guessing the Turkey Sandwich was a bit messy, big hands would be a must. I always overstuff my sandwiches and wraps, mostly with vegetables, to the point where I can’t set it down because it will fall apart when I go to pick it up again.
I’m going to add these to my shopping list.
Wow sandwich looks soooo good.
Love a healthier food!
Thank you.
Boy both sandwiches look yummy. I’m more of a quesadilla person though. Some roast beef and some pepperjack cheese on a Flatout Whole Grain with Flaxseed Flatbread sounds pretty good.
I would love to try the chicken quesadilla , Thank you!
Yum…I’m not sure which recipe I like best. I have to say that I’m a sucker for bacon and avocado though.
Oh your Flatbread Turkey, Bacon and Avocado Sandwich looks amazing!!!! I love avocado but do not have many recipes to use it in. Oh so excited to try this!
I have never seen this kind of bread before, but would love to try it. I have to pack a lunch for work and get so bored with the same old thing! Thanks for the review!
It is really nice to be able to find a healthy option at a drug store, that can often be difficult to do.
looks so good yumm!
Looks amazingly delicious! Yum! Thank you for the pictures! =)
I also would make a tyurkey, bacon and avocado sandwich but it would look as good as yours
I am going to have to try your Chicken Quesadilla recipe. It sounds so good
My friend likes these but I’ve never tried them.
I would love to try these with turkey, cucumber and ranch.

I’m glad that Walgreens is carrying healthier food options than the usual junk you find at drug and convenience stores.
Both of those look yummy. I would skip the avacados and add onions to mine.
that looks delicious!
That looks so good!
I usually bring snacks and drinks with.
i love loading sandwiches with veggies but i never thought of adding avacado. thanks for the tip!
