Shopping, Fashion Shows, Wine, food, giveaways and more, that is what my evening was all about at The Westchester shopping mall this past weekend. Simon Mall hosted a 2- day shopper’s delight with special events happening for everyone who was in attendance. Simon Fashion Now presented by Greenwich Hospital kicked off Friday evening with a Trends & Friends event featuring special food and wine tastings from local restaurants. Many stores throughout the mall also had treats for all customers to take advantage of from special discounts to personal styling sessions.
For the first 150 registered attendees a swag bag was theirs for the taking filled with discounts galore samples of perfumes and lotions, water bottles and much, much more. Those at the event were also able to receive complimentary massages and eyebrow waxing from Tranquility Spa
Throughout the evening giveaways were going on to win fabulous prizes from Anne Fontaine, True Religion and Sunglass Hut
The Junior League of Central Westchester was also on hand to raise money for their charitable events and support the community, with a $20 donation you received a Crate & Barrel flute glass and complimentary glass of champagne and also a raffle ticket for a diamond Tiffany necklace valued at $2,500.
Of Course you can’t go to a mall without checking out the latest styles and trends and to keep us on top of the Fall’s hottest looks were 2 runways shows. Both shows featured accessible looks that could be purchased right after the show in the corresponding store. Can we say immediate gratification!!!
In between both shows was a unique was a Ready, Set, Style interactive styling competition where members of the audience helped accessorize 2 of the models for a friendly completion of who styled it better. Winners received a Simon Mall gift card.

This weekend October 12 & 13 a similar event will be held at Roosevelt Field Mall on Long Island. Check out www.simon.com for more details.
This would be exciting, I have never seen a fashion show in person. I think it would be fun to see everyone go down the runway all elegant and sophisticated!
