The Wall Street Run & Heart Walk took place a few weeks ago and I was happy to be a part of it. Receiving an email from Jenny Craig was a sign for me to start taking healthy steps in the right direction. Eating healthy and being active are two ways to combat weight-related diseases and I think I am ready to “call” Jenny. The evening started at check-in where my NYC blogger friends and I were able to meet Valerie Bertinelli. So exciting!
After our photo-ops, we traveled as a team to the start of the walk line. Anxiously waiting to start, we assembled for one last photo. Valerie and Team Jenny were ready to walk for the American Heart Association.
As a national supporter of the American Heart Association’s My Heart. My Life. healthy living initiative, Jenny is committed to helping combat the obesity epidemic and with it, the overwhelming health issues caused by weight-related diseases, including heart disease – the leading cause of death for women in the United States*. In fact, Jenny is working with the AHA to reduce Americans’ risk for cardiovascular disease by 20 percent by 2020. As part of their support, Jenny Craig will lead the charge by supporting nearly 350 AHA Heart Walks throughout the year, kicking off in New York City this month.
I was not compensated for this post. I did receive a gym bag filled with Jenny Craig snacks which were yummy. I especially like the breakfast bar. I will receive a one month supplyof the Jenny-Set-Go program including the food to help it all come together. So, stay tuned. I can’t wait to share how my first time Jenny Craig experience is.
