Today was the most amazing soccer day ever. Even with all the rain, we won today’s soccer game. Oldest Savvy has played goalie once or twice before, but today, was something else.
For the second half of the game, she was unstoppable. Nothing made it in the goal. She even took some risky moves and ran out to stop the ball before it had a chance to get to the goal.
The crowd was cheering for her and everyone on the team congratulated her on her efforts. I was so proud to hear everyone call her name. She has been playing soccer since kindergarten and has always had fun. Today, it was like it all clicked and she was a superstar!
