Old Jews Telling Jokes at the Westside Theater @Playtime

What’s not to like about Old Jews Telling Jokes? This classically funny show is playing at the Westside Theatre, 407 West 43rd Street. I took my mom the night before Mother’s Day to see the show. What I liked most was how no matter what, through good times and bad, jokes bring us together and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Old jokes – new jokes – the delivery was super! You’ll laugh your heart out.

A minimum of props and decor, your undivided attention is totally on the cast. Laughter is contagious and soon the entire theater is laughing out loud. It’s a treat for the psyche.

So, after you see it, you will want to share. I keep telling the joke about the ketchup bottle. Too funny and the delivery was great! If I see you, ask me and I’ll tell you!

OLD JEWS TELLING JOKES showcases five actors in a revue that pays tribute to and reinvents classic jokes of the past and present. Think you’ve heard them all before? Not this way. The show also features comic songs-brand new and satisfyingly old-as well as tributes to some of the giants of the comedy world and to the Old Jews Telling Jokes website, which inspired the show.
