This weekend, J and R Jr. in NYC is having its Grand Opening Kidstravaganza celebration with many amazing musical guests. Tomorrow, February 11, Laurie Berkner will be their special musical guest. Sunday has a great lineup including Dan Zanes and the Dirty Socks.
Last weekend, we attended a blogger event at the new J&R Jr. Kids store. This
event was sponsored by Momtrends and Kidzvuz. My savvies and I were entertained by The Amazing Max and A Princess Visit while we also checked out new space.
In addition to entertainment we were able to peruse the store and see all that Jr. had to offer. Alex Toys, Lazoo and Quinny were in attendance sharing their latest product information.
The store is large and child friendly. We loved walking through the aisles and taking note of old favorites and new items that needed further exploration. What I like best is that it was a unique experience – almost like a showcase of the best of the best in toys and necessities for baby and child.
J & r Jr. is located at 1 Park Row and stroller access is available around the corner on Ann St.

Very fun! They don’t really have any kids stores like that where I live–that I know of…LOL. The only thing we get is the standard Babies R Us, Toys R US, blah. This store looks super fun. I’ll have to check them out online.
so cool, looks like a great time and a fantastic store!
I know that store, I used to work right by there! Reasons I miss New York City 🙂 Oh man, it sounds like fun!! Glad they had a good time.
OH My, that looks like an awesome event, Isabella would’ve had a blast! Thanks for sharing the turnout with us!
That sounds like so much fun! Wish I lived near you to go there too!
We had a great time yesterday watching Laurie Berkner “We are the Dinosaurs”!
What a fabulous event! If my son knew Laurie Berkner would be there he would have asked to fly out to join!
So much fun being a kid
