As I watch the Oscars and reflect back on the week off from work I want to remind all of you wonderful people who read Raising Three Savvy Ladies to take time to enjoy your family.
We went away for February break for the first time in 6 years. A much needed vacation from school, work and all of the daily chores of life. There are so many times that we are not all together during the busy week that it was great to experience our trip as a family of 5.
Each part of the trip brought us closer together: the drive, swimming in the pool and our trip to the Gulf. Watching the girls experience it all made us laugh together as a family.
When was the last time you laughed with your family?
I couldn’t agree with you more. Time to enjoy your family is so important, especially with the crazy, busy days that we all have. I try to take time to enjoy my friends and family as often as possible.
Sounds like you guys had a great vacation. Can’t wait to hear more of it.
We haven’t been away since our honeymoon and that was three years ago. A family vacation sounds wonderful, but we’ll probably wait until Lil E gets a little older. I’m glad you had such an incredible vacation.
We take a roadtrip to WI Dells every winter, just went for 4 days over last weekend. It’s nice to have that tradition.
Spending time with your spouse is so important! My husband & I always try to have us time when we can squeeze it in! We haven’t taken any trips without the kids though, but I hope to do so soon.
I agree spending quality time with our familes is one of the most valuable investments we can make. Love creating memories together. Thanks for the reminder! 🙂
