Ezra Jack Keats Exhibit at the Jewish Museum with KidsClub 13 #WordlessWednesday

We recently attended a Kids Club 13 event at The Jewish Museum in NYC.  The teacher in me loves the work of Ezra Jack Keats and I wanted to see the original collages he used to create the illustrations.  Stories such as The Snowy Day, Peter’s Chair and Goggles are classroom favorites.

Collaging and bookmaking

After viewing the exhibit, we participated in activities with Kids Club 13. Bookmaking and collaging were popular with my savvy ladies.

My savvy ladies are creating sculptures with their Savvy Dad.
