In October, we hosted a LeapFrog “Learn, Create & Share” party with some family members and friends.
We had an awesome time previewing before the LeapPad™ and Tag™ before the party so that we could explain to others. What they truly liked the most was the ability to take pictures and video just like I can do on my phone. My oldest two are 5 and 8. It was user-friendly for both. The games were great too, but what made it stand out was the built in camera and video recorder which gave them the ability to create videos independently. They had so much fun creating and playing with it together.
I am a firm believer that all children should be read to and as time goes on, mom and child should read together. This should not take the place of the bonding between parent and child but be used as an additional tool to support literacy and independence. What I like the most is that they are always figuring out something new that the Leapad can do.
Oldest Savvy is showing a younger guest how to use the Tag. I think Santa might be bringing this to his house. Three year olds and four year olds were able to grasp many of the components after being showed how from the older children. They enjoyed being the teachers.

Thank you to LeapPad and MomSelect

Santa has already picked up both my girls the LeapFrog LeapPad. I can’t wait to give it to our girls. What a cool way for LeapFro to showcase their products.
Thank you for posting this info and especially the pictures. The items are quite a bit smaller than I had envisioned.
I loved buying my son the Leapfrog items when he was small. It helped him so much to learn reading & writing at an early age! He was the first child to read in his class as well as the first to count to 100. I know that the Leapfrog toys he had helped him to be advanced when he started school. Hes in the 8th grade now and Im proud to say hes still a good student!
