Fall Back! Daylight Savings Time has ended.
It is a good habit to check your smoke alarm batteries on this day. Fall back, spring ahead, and check the batteries in your smoke alarm so that you are always ready in case of an emergency.
A few weeks ago, Moms and the City and Energizer teamed together along with the infamous Energizer bunny to spread the word about fire safety and changing smoke alarm batteries when you change your clocks too. The event was held at the Children’s Museum of Manhattan.
Change your Clocks, Change your Batteries!
I was not compensated for this post. I did receive a gift bag.
I am so glad the phone and computers change automatically. Then I use those to make sure all my other clocks are right. I still get confused sometimes, but I think I got most of them changed back. I did not check the smoke alarms though… thanks for reminding me.

Forgot about the smoke alarms, thanks for the reminder!
That’s exactly what I do! When I change the clocks, I change the batteries. In our home this coincides with the seasonal deep clean in our home.
