I did not read the book, but my sister did and said it was excellent. I just won a Fandango gift card from @mommyfactor so now I can see the movie!
What an excellant book to write about something that should have never exsited
I will definately be going to see the movie bc when we first saw it as a preview during Larry Crowne it sparked an interest. When I worked with families that had au pairs for their children, I always wanted to know more about them!
I am thinking about going to see the movie. It looks like a good movie. Thanks for a great sweep and hope to win 🙂
I have not read the book, but seeing the commercials for the movie, I will probably put it on my list to read next.

Yes, I have read the book. I plan on seeing the movie, if possible, because I loved the book.
The buzz has been good for this movie. I’ll most likely see the movie first and then read the book, like I usually do, to compare.
not read the book, but do plan to see the movie cause it looks like fun
I want to go see the movie
I have not read the book, but the preview for the movie looks very interesting. I can’t wait to go see it.

I absolutely loved the book and fell in love with all the characters. I am going to see the movie and from what I’ve heard, it’s faithful to the book so that’s a plus!
I have not read the book but am very interested to see this movie. The previews are great!

Yes! I have definitely read the book. As a Louisianian, I could connect with the Jackson, MS portrayed in the novel. I absolutely loved the book (which I just finished last week) and I can’t wait to watch the movie. I’m happy to support a book-movie franchise that brings back to the public eye the issues that are displayed in books like Their Eyes Were Watching God, The Color Purple, Beloved, and To Kill a Mockingbird. We like to think that the race barrier has been broken down, but frankly, we still have problems; and if we didn’t still have these problems, readers wouldn’t be able to connect so much to the novel. So yes, I have read the book and yes, I do plan on watching the movie!
I have read the book in anticipation of the movie! I’m very excited to see it. I’m hoping it won’t disappoint (but I go into it know that in most respects the books will always be better)!
I read and read the book, I’m not sure if i ‘ll see the movie because movies usually don’t do justice to the book.
I read the book last year and loved it. It was one of those that kept me thinking about it long after finishing reading. I plan on dragging hubby to the theater this weekend to see it. I’ve been anxiously waiting for it to come out.
Thanks for the giveaway!

I read the book (well actually I listed to the audiobook…which is excellent!!!) and I am definitely going to see the movie. I was so sad when I finished the book, I wanted to hear more and for the story to continue…so the movie is a way for this to happen. I am interested to see how well the movie is going to correlate with the book. I’m sure it will be good!

I have not seen or read about this but I definately will
I have not read the book but my best friend did and she has just raved about it. I’m excited about seeing the movie!
I haven’t read the book, in part because I’m just hearing about it. It’s set in a sort of gray area for me; I was born in ’65 and my mom was out of the country from ’62 to ’65 and then on the west coast for a few years, then we were in Scotland for a couple of years, so even though my family is all from the south, we weren’t really in the south when this took place. I don’t feel a connection to it. I’ve been reading a lot about Viola Davis and I liked Bryce Howard in the one movie I saw her in, so I’d like to see the movie for their performances. I probably won’t see it in theatres, though. We just go to the movies very rarely, mostly because so many moviegoers are rude.

I have started reading the book right now and have been working on it for about a week now, however, with kids, it’s a little slow going, but it’s been a good book so far. I must admit the idea of a tell all is really funny for this era is a riot! I’m really looking forward to seeing this with the “girlfriends” on our next night out!

I have not read the book or seen the movie yet, but I plan on doing both. This looks like it will be awesome.
I actually finished reading the book today. It was an excellent book and I am eager to see how they translate it into a movie. From the previews, it seems the casting for the 3 main characters is exactly right. I will see the movie soon!

I haven’t read the book but want to see the movie. I’m happy to see a funny slant on something that wasn’t so funny. Also, I like quite a few of the actresses.

I am going to see the movie because I live in MS where the movie was filmed. I’ve been to some of the places that it was filmed and I know some people that were in it as extras.

I have not read the book. However, I do intend to see the movie. Perhaps I can compare the nook and the movie. It looks like an inspirational, feel good movie 🙂
